So The Coming Storm is out and already annoying fans like me are noticing some mistakes: Londril Spear-Rattler's Rattle-Born rating is just 1(it should be 1W) and his Movement rune rating should be 13 (or maybe 17?) instead of 13W, a picture of a Dragon rune on page 15 should be an Earth rune, and several characters have a 13 in their second rune instead of a 17.

Remember that Raus himself is an exile. Maybe he and the characters have some Lunar enemies in common.

Are Heler and/or Elmal considered husband-protectors anywhere?

I'd always wondered what the "Padding" spell that a couple of NPC's knew in some of the RQ2 supplements. Now thanks to RQ1, I know - apparently Protection didn't start off as a variable spell, it was just the 4-point version and Padding was the 2-point version. Go figure.
Not quite. Apparantly, Padding "adds 2 points of protection to all armored parts of the body" while Protection simply "adds 4 points of protection to all parts of the body" (emphasis added).

In the HeroQuest to free Hofstaring Treeleaper the heroes encounter the four Dara Happan Overseer gods, who will (along with Natha) try to prevent the heroes from freeing Hofstaring. How they attack isn't described, and the only thing they're described as carrying is their measuring tools. Anyone have any ideas?

Do nobles like Duke Raus worship Lodril?

They could breed with any virgin animal, as I recall, normally horses, but other creatures as well - Including their riders!
I can see a unicorn happily tupping a herd beast, especially a zebra.
The RQ Companion article states that they must breed with non-sentient animals.

I used Foxit Reader to correct the bookmarks in my copy.

Are Veskarthan's runes the same as Lodril's (Life, Fire and Disorder according to the Guide) or did the God Learners flub this one?:)

Both Olend Many-Moods on page 17 and Koschei the Weary on page 20 have distinguishing characteristics at 15 instead of 17.
