sadz
Quote The first instance of Mythos-related insanity always adds 5 points to the Cthulhu Mythos skill. Further episodes of Mythos-induced insanity (temporary or indefinite) each add 1 point to the skill. Quote This mental fragility remains for the full duration of the insanity—1D10 hours in the case of temporary insanity—and probably for the duration of the scenario or chapter of the campaign in the case of indefinite insanity. I was wondering, if the character goes insane again within 1D10 hours, will he gain 1 points?
Grimmshade
The character is already insane for the 1d10 hours, so they can't go insane again. They can only have another Bout of Madness (from any Sanity loss).

If the PC is spending an educational afternoon with Nyarlathotep, you could probably bend the rules and allow multiple SAN losses and mythos points. But a person who attracts that kind of attention is likely already doomed.
