Aprewett
A question. In Six Seasons, how would the Haraborn suffer a raid? The terrain/location, the fortified palisade. I could not see it happening.
Rob Darvall
Well my players identified the fact that the vale is comparitively small for grazing both sheep and cattle. So each morning both* are driven out to pasture either on the eastern slopes of Kargradus or via the reentrant behind White Bark that leads to the flats under Quivin peak. *Both the sheep and cattle, not the players.
Aprewett
Great solution. Is there a map showing the second area?
Duff
The Pallisade just guards the easiest route into the Vale from the south, there are other ways in and out. But the Haraborn are lucky in that the geography of the Vale makes them a harder target than most. But that can also mean there is more reputation to be gained from raiding them. "Bormal is so good at raiding, he has Haraborn cattle in his herd!"
