Pao
I'm planning on a Pulp Cthulhu through the ages. I divided the game up into 6 ages, each with 2 section, and with their own unique theme and mechanic. Ancient: Fate and Destiny 1. Rome 200s A.D. 2. Scotland 500s A.D. Mythic: Faith and Superstition 3. Whales 1100s A.D. 4. France 1500s A.D. Romantic: Society and Science 5. England 1810s A.D. 6. India 1890s A.D. Classic: Horror and Wonder 7. China 1920s A.D. 8. German 1940s A.D. Modern: Gothic and Weird 9. South Africa 1990s A.D. 10. America 2020s A.D. Future: Technology and Unknow 11. Canada 2100s A.D. 12. Mar 2500s A.D. And catagorize talents into 5 catagory: Physical, Mental, Social, Supernatural, and Combat. I have make some new talents already, but I want every talents catagory to have 2 new talents with each ages pass.
1d8+DB
Hmmm. Perhaps you're being overly ambitious? I would collapse the 'Ages' into three myself: pre-industrial (neo-lithic up to Renaissance), industrial (Steam up to Atom Age), and information age (beginning of internet age up to trans-human/cyberpunk era). I don't think the distinctions are otherwise, game-wise, that significant. Edited March 16 by 1d8+DB grammar
Pao
Maybe, but I think the thematic of each ages and what kind of game I want to do with them are different enough that I think it need to be at least 6 ages.
