Brian Duguid
I'm delighted to announce that An Unofficial Buyer's Guide to RuneQuest and Glorantha is now available. I'm indebted to the mighty Kristi Herbert for the cover art, which is well worth studying in detail to see what secrets the book might contain (or that we just dreamed up). Also many thanks to the Chaosium team for making this possible at all, and to my mini-legion of Lhankor Mhy fact wranglers for their input. Let the battle for the merch begin! Have you ever been surprised to discover a product you can buy for RuneQuest or Glorantha that you hadn't previously even known existed? Did you know that you can still get brand-new copies of that Gloranthan fanzine that quit publishing 15 years ago? Have you ever bought a RuneQuest book and then been annoyed to discover it was half the price on a different website? Have you ever asked ... which Gloranthan fiction is still available to buy right now? How many Gloranthan boardgames are for sale today? How many languages is RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha available in, and what are they? Where can you buy a Seven Mothers apron? Does anyone make a Gloranthan dragon snail miniature? Which artists are selling prints of their Gloranthan art? Where can I find alternatives to the standard RQG character sheet? If so ... then this Unofficial Buyer's Guide is probably for you. This guide aims to list and describe everything that is currently available to buy, or that you can get for free. I'm pretty sure that most fans will find a few surprises inside! My intention is for the Buyer's Guide to have very little overlap with Rick Meints' Meints Index to Glorantha, a much more comprehensive survey. It also doesn't conflict with Nick Brooke's excellent Jonstown Compendium Catalogue. If you want to read about the Jonstown Compendium's many marvels of community content - look there. Here is some of what is described across the sixty pages of this Unofficial Guide: Art • Badges • Bags • Boardgames • Character sheets • Classic reprints • Clothing • Coins • Comics • Computer games • Cults • Dice • Dice trays • Discounts • Drinkware • Fiction • Free stuff • Game aids • Histories • Homeware • Indexes • International editions • Magazines • Merchandise • Miniatures • Music • Online resources • RPGs • Rules • Scenarios • Stickers • Tokens If this Guide proves popular, I plan to update it on an irregular basis at least until the end of 2024, so please check back here in your DTRPG library for any new version. And as always: if you like it ... please rate it and review it! http://tiny.cc/rq-buyers-guide Edited August 29 by Brian Duguid Thread title updated 7 Quote -- The Winter King | An Unofficial Buyer's Guide to RuneQuest and Glorantha | The Voralans | The Children of Hykim
Brian Duguid
So ... if you are a creator of RuneQuest and/or Gloranthan product and you want to share more detail with me about your stuff, or correct any mistakes - buy the book, check what's there, and please get in touch on the email address included in the book. I hope to update the book irregularly, and will be checking that email for notifications - not Facebook or anywhere else. Thanks! Brian Duguid
And also take note: SPECIAL OFFERS! For a limited period and in limited numbers only, I'm providing exclusive discount codes to purchasers of this book: $2.49 off each of my other two books, The Children of Hykim, and The Voralans. I think that's pretty great value: if you use just one of those discount codes, you've essentially got this $2.49 buyer's guide for free. And if you use both: you're quids in, as they say round my way. You'll find the discount codes in a separate file alongside the book in the DTRPG library. 1 1 Quote -- The Winter King | An Unofficial Buyer's Guide to RuneQuest and Glorantha | The Voralans | The Children of Hykim

Brian Duguid
I've added: The Lunar Way A new table of contents for the whole book Seven new pages listing RQ and Glorantha-related podcasts and video channels The book is now 75 pages (compare the first release, 60 pages). The section on podcasts and channels includes anything I thought was sufficiently interesting, but as always, if you have comments or additions - contact me at the email address given in the book, not here or anywhere else. Where a YouTube video channel includes more than just RQ and Glorantha videos, I've helped you out by creating my own curated playlist, so you can jump straight to a list of just what is relevant. Brian Duguid
Another update, with a couple of items that may be of particular interest: The Petersen Games section now reflects the recent news that Quimbley's Toys and Games have taken over their Kickstarter commitments, including the second Kickstarter for Glorantha: The Gods War. Judging by the pace of announcements, and prototype images appearing for Petersen's Hyperspace game, a 2025 re-release for TGW now looks much more credible. Studio Deadcrows have launched a crowdfunding campaign for the French translations of the first five volumes of Cults of RuneQuest, the 2nd edition Glorantha Sourcebook, and the Pendragon Starter Set. As usual with their campaigns, some of the deals are very good value, and there are bonuses available nowhere else, this time including a good range of art prints. They are also about to ship the French RuneQuest Starter Set (or Coffret découverte), which comes with a range of bonus items not available in the Chaosium version, and one extra scenario. I've also added a link to more videos related to the Spanish-language Partidas Vetustas channel. As always, you can find it here: http://tiny.cc/rq-buyers-guide 4 Quote -- The Winter King | An Unofficial Buyer's Guide to RuneQuest and Glorantha | The Voralans | The Children of Hykim

A page describing the excellent new free beta RuneQuesting tool, which you can read more about here. Thanks - I'll fix that in the next version. The best place to flag any other errors is via email to the address given in the book: that's where it's easiest for me to keep track of them all in one place. 1 Quote -- The Winter King | An Unofficial Buyer's Guide to RuneQuest and Glorantha | The Voralans | The Children of Hykim
