New Campaign Settings for Call of Cthulhu

Recommended Posts

We've had a brief mention of a futuristic sci-fi setting for CoC being in production as well as a Colonial era setting being planned for publication by a third party licensee, Sixtystone Press. There's also been a few hints about an Elizabethan era setting for CoC.

Months ago on this forum, I purposed an ancient world setting focused on Egypt but also including Babylon and similar locales. What might be some more settings that haven't been explored or proposed yet? I'd really like to see the Colonial era setting eventually released, especially as a witch trials scenario set in Arkham during the late 1600s.

I wonder if players would appreciate a setting around maybe the Inca, Aztec or Maya? I think there was a book along those lines titled Mysteries of Mesoamerica, but I haven’t heard much about it. Perhaps it didn’t do well.

You are refering to The Mysteries of Mezzoamerica by Pagan Publishing.

Review at the rpg net archives

Its more a sourcebook than a setting and meant for the classic 1920s area

Thank you! Clearly I can neither spell nor remember. But heck, this looks interesting!
