Gateways into Madness.

Has anybody seen this new game, Gateways into Madness? It's by a company called Seigebreaker and it's BRP.The background is essentially "Call of Cthulhu" meets "Stargate one". Humanity has found stargates and some people with a small amounts of Alien DNA can trigger them and travel off world, Off world appears very visionarily Cthulhu and the Gate Survey Teams (GSTs), which are military/scientific units are often confronted by the mythos. The BRP style seems machanically similar to Stormbringer in function. It's over on DrivthruRPG. It looks like they are going for POD.

 

Anyway, it's great to see third parties doing BRP and the game looks solid and is well presented. Going off world to some strange temple in a jungle with Byakhee guarding the antichamber kind of feels so  SCi-Fi Cthulhu to me.

I like the "Stargate one Plus" idea, but i don´t like that Public Domain Cthulhu Stuff was included. Would have liked it more without it.

I'm interested in its concept, but there's not enough in the previews for me to be sure it's worth the purchase - compared to the option of "Use the BRP UGE that I already have to run Stargate".

I'd want to have a detailed look at the new crunch there is and how it works, compared to what it's taken wholesale from the BRP UGE.
