  1. There's a bit in Arms and Equipment of Legend for MGP Legend that has various sorts of arrow heads with mods to teh basic arrow stats.

I'm sure that I have that as an MRQ pdf. I'll have to have a look for it. Thanks for that. :)

  2. Talking about such things as arrows I remember an article for Elric! on different types of arrow heads (narrow, leaf, spherical and cutting amongst them) by a guy called Pawel Stacewicz that would be useful for MW. The problem is that I can't find it anywhere on the net.

  3. I kinda dig how there are currently now gods in the published material.  I haven't started up my Magic World campaign but on top of the forces I was thinking about borrowing Virtues from Gods of Law and setting up some ancestor worship.  If gods show up in other material I'll integrate them into the game, but I'm currently very happy to go god free.

I like making up pantheons of gods. But it can be a chore if that isn't your kind of thing.

  4. The worst that could happen is you get banned, which I don't think you need to be worried about since the mods are only sensitive to such a statement when it conflicts with their own opinion.

Actually the worst that could happen is that you get banned from RPG.net and then RPGPundit's lackeys troll the heck out of you on any forum you appear, making it well nigh impossible for you to post in your real name. You might even upset the paranoid pundit and he might call you names in his forum, but that is inadvertantly funny, and harmless.

  5. I like the cover a lot. I can see a Virikki psionicist, a priest of Unthar the timekeeper (?) and a paladin of Regos, perhaps. There are some dragonel cannons, in the background on the top of the city wall too, which is cool. But what is the multiarmed creature with the sharp teeth and reddish colouration in front of and to the left of the three figures? Is it a Hsuntach?

  6. I doubt Ghost Sword's got the cajones to come back. It's clearly some kind of pitiful "fire and forget" insult he tried to make at my expense. At least when I 'disrespected' Moorcock, I had the balls to stick around and take my just punishment... :P

I thought about just deleting the thread outright, but didn't want to be disrespectful to Mr. Sword. :D

Talking about cojones is it my imagination or did you once call RPGPundit a "borderline sociopath" on RPG.net? It takes grande cojones to say such a thing about a crazy cult leader, with lots of lackeys, on a site that is well known for its sensitive moderators. I remember rolling  on the floor laughing when I read it.

  7. The upcoming Chronicler's Companion has rules for hiring spell casters. Actually, about half the book is drawn from the aforementioned "Basic Gamemaster" book (aka, the RQIII Gamemaster's Book).

Guidelines for buying magical junk would just need to be extrapolated from that. For example, figure out the total MP/POW spent to make a magical sword as if it was a demon weapon (ala Advanced Sorcery), then look that up on the table in CC/BG, and you're set.

    Is it out yet?
