Here's my latest, fan-written case file for the Rivers of London RPG. An appointment with London's worst supergrass leads to a madcap chase in Bloodhounds of Bermondsey! Bloodhounds of Bermondsey.pdf

From the spell description: If used in combat, the spell is an attack and is resolved exactly the same as a firearms attack (Combat, page 123), with the attack roll (Firearms) replaced by the spellcasting roll (Magic). If successful, it inflicts 1 damage total.

I can attest that Dangermouse has done a cracking job at this. Bravo sir!

Now I want to have someone throw a tin of beans at my players’ PCs.

Would Fireball be effective against armour? I guess it depends on what the armour is designed to protect against.

Thanks Dangermouse, that’s what I suspected. Might be a bit harsh on players who want to learn magic later on, but I’ll just have to warn them during character creation.

I'm sure it's somewhere in the rules, but I can't find it! Can a player save up enough Development points to buy an Advantage that requires prerequisite Characteristics, if they don't meet the prerequisites? E.g. someone has saved 10 Development points and wants to gain the Magical advantage, but only has 40 INT and 50 POW. Can they do it? Thanks in advance.

Impressive! Really looking forward to seeing your work. I’m still ploughing through case file #2. Just need to write the finale, sort the layout, finish the artwork and letter the cover and it’s ready for playtesting.
