  1. I Want  to try play testing  using 1-3-10% 4-6-5% 7-9 0% 10 -12 5% 13-15 +10 16-18 +15 19-21 +20 for all the stats I like the idea of stats are much greater influence in game play.  But Size will still effect snake negatively. Also thinking of these luck points. But call them fate points. But keeping everything else the same.

  2. I have finely completed reading the SRD. And I haft to say I'm an vary excited to  narrate a game. Have a bad habit of picking up games and turn them in to Mythras as this is one of my favorites rule systems. This is the first time in the last 6 years that I have want to pick up and run a system as it stands. I really like your new ideas and very much looking forward to playing them.

  3. I have now tryed  to run three differentsessions  RunQuest 2  only to have them all fizzle out. To start there was some Big arguments over why there was no bonus to strength to after 17 the player did not like that at all. And felt that stats had way to letter affect. Now most of these people have been DnD players on roll20. There also was another argument over different bonuses for different skills overall is rather frustrating had two players quit during the first combat session everybody was frustrating how how long combat took and the two people that quit had lost a limb.

Though I want to stay true to the system I think i'm going to need to make changes to Keep players.

I'm thinking of adding bonuses at earlier stage for each of the characteristics So thay  have a much stronger influence on characteristics

Any suggestions I'm staying true to request to but speeding up combat?

Also I think I'm a make sure they have potions of healing  so they can heal their limbs so they don't quit over limbs  lost. I might need dig up if I can find them all my old house rules I had forgotten how broken RQ2 was. Compared  today's games. Where I still enjoy it. The new DnD player sofar do not, but  I may have gotten bad groups. I have not had this problem with RQ6. But to be fair I know the request six rules like the back my hand. I was pausing while playing the RQ2 to look up rules.

Does anybody have Roll20 RQ2 games going that I could join but if you love how you are GMing the game.

For me the most important thing, is going to be the atmosphere. RQ2 was my first RPG so I'm biased towards to. But that being said. I had house ruled Quit a bit of RQ2 after about 10 years I had over 100 pages of changes. I never moved on to RQ3 but I purchased all the supplements just converting them on the fly. I didn't move on,  untill RuneQuest 6 came out. For me RuneQuest was the best game play I ever had the opertunty to play. As stated earlier some people like there RuneQuest less crunchy some want more others don't want hit locations others do.  In the end every single person out there, will like different parts the game. The great thing about d100 games it is easy to convert stuff. Keep the Rules you like Takeaway ones you don't. Make it your game. I'm way excited about RQ2.5 character creation processing. I have  never like starting my players as a zero. I have always had my players start with characters that had something special and are better than the typical.  It looks like RQ2 going to have awesome atmosphere with lots of depth of character. So long as they keep that I would be happy with RuneQuest 2.5, i'll just add and take away rules according  to my preference. I have Never got why people bent out of shape of a rule. And because of one rule thay don't want to play the game. Just change rule don't like and move on. Jeff go is going hard road ahead as people are very passionate about their RuneQuest. No matter what he does people will be upset about it. So I'm glad I am not in he's position.

  6. I have been playing BRP RQ2 - RQ6 for years. In the last 6 years or so have run most of my games on Voice and video chat. I work mids shift so most of I my players are overseas. My son just ask my if would run a scary British role-playing game. I asked him what game he was talking about? Then he states "You know BRP British roll-playing The game and you're always playing with the British guys." I jest started laughing.

  7. Well I have thoroughly enjoyed my initial read through. As I have never played the earlier versions of the game. So I can't compare it to earlier versions but I like what I see with CoC7 and Pulp C looks like a lot of fun. I will run a  couple one shots in a week or so. My kids want a really scary adventure any recommendations something Will run from 4 to 10 hr that would spook my teenage kids out?

  8. Two questions

Will Steve Perrin and Grege be at Gen Con? If so I'll bring my kick starter RuneQuest two book to be signed.

Also having pick up all the PDF for  new CoC 7th edition as the Books where not available yet. If I pick up the hard Coppys at GenCon will the cost of the PDF  be credited against the cost of the hard Coppys or do I need to do that through the website?

  9. Looks real good.

Iron man, i've always thought of having olmost supernatural intelligence. Now I am by no means Any kind expert in this area. But to pull off what he's developed and created in the movies wouldn't a INT of 19 or 20 be more appropriate for him?

  10. I use lenegnd, suplaments with my Mythras champagnes, also OpenQuests suplaments for me the big advantage of d100 is how easy it is to use suplaments of other systems. I pretty much only GM with Mythras but maybe do more to my laziness, as I don't take the time to learn the other system well enough to GM them.

I am working on a character sheet for BRP on Roll20 and I was wondering what people thought about the number blocks for hit points, magic points SAN points etc.  These look good on a character sheet and are great for the mathematically challenged, but they take up a lot of space and scrolling around a character sheet is a pain.  Should I replace them with fields instead?

Have you looked at the RQ 6 character sheet on roll20 you could start a fork on gethub and save yourself a lot of work.
