  1. It would be the localized policework with the monster of the week  As this will be for my kids ages 16 14 11 and 9 if they start looking for more intrigue ill add that in. For right now I have one that want to be a Grimm and the rest Wesen. So i was going to lit the players build PC as normal in LA. But the traits available and dependency would be determined by Wesen type. non Wesen would not be able to use psionics or spells. Grimm would have 1 trait and Mysticism. I would probably make Hexenbeasts have to chose spells or psionics. The hardest part will be building a list of most of the possible traits and  greatly expanded list of  dependency.

  2. Oh and if and if you know the show well, or a good resource for The creature types and their abilities it would be much appreciated. I really don't want to have to watch all the TV shows  to get the names right or their abilities. I'm sure if I get it  wrong my kids will let me know. Which I hope to avoid doing too much.

  3. OK been running a M-Space LutherArkwright campaign twice a week with my kids for couple months now. We were having a grate time with M-space untill my oldest son {the ship captain} The left at the beginning of January for college. Tried running game twice since then, and all I Managed was to get my kids depressed. Well over the long holiday break that just ended today my kids have been watching the last five seasons of Grimm. So they now want me to run a Game based in the Grimm world.

So I'm thinking LutherArkwright will be the best System to use.

1st It is based in the modern.  2 The rules for traits would be easy to adapt to use for the different type of Humanoids. 3 Use The dependency rules to model the hard to control aspects of each humanoid type.

I would probably try to have a list of trates and abilities available for  each humanoid type. The players then would be able to pick  two or three traits and a special ability from that list. A player  choosing to be a Hexen Beast for example would get to  choose Sorcery or Psionic for their  special abilitie. Dependencies would be violence & Authority. Traits Menacing & Sensitive to things using Sorcery or Psionics

The wolf type don't remember what they're called Would have increased smell perceptions, strength and tuffnes. Exc exc. I guess I'm just looking for ideas and how you would run this, or model this type of game.

  4. OK at first look I have never liked Hex Grid maps.  So much so I've always avoided them and in all my years of gaming have never given them a chance. Just recently, I took a good look at some Hex grid maps. (for the express purpose to convert them over to standard maps.) It was  only in trying to draw the maps that I started to realize truly how much detail is hidden in plain sight in those clunky looking maps. I was having a very hard time in the conversion, as I was spending hours making  new texture set after texture to match the information available, in the plan old Hexgrid map. It was at this point I really had a realization how much I was missing in avoiding this map style. So I took the time to really read about the map stile and the rules associated with. I have to say I am now a convert and regret not using them or their rules for the HexCrawl in the past. To top off all this I spent hours making my own clunky looking HexGrid maps.

  5. A 22 inch tall Spider-Man I made for my grandson. He broke spides neck. So he is back for repair. Going to make the Anathaym next. It will take over 100 3d printed parts. But will be cool to have TDM Mythras mascot.

  6. It in my mind is what the GM want to allow in the game. In my own game DS would be a  vary tightly held secret, that would be rumored to exist in fables and legends. So as you stated it is about flavor. I use mysticism quite a bit in my LutherArkwright games but I don't allow any of the player to start with it. It has to be sout out, and when someone is found that can teach it. Then the player must first prove himself worthy of the knowledge.

I could be totally wrong here, this is just my own thoughts, but I don't think the giant cradles pass into the land of the dead.  I think they travel down the River Styx, never crossing into the land of the dead.  Also, I'm pretty sure that the cradles are an invention of the giants after the introduction of Time because they needed a way for their children to grow up outside of Time as they age too slowly to do so otherwise.  Before the spike exploded such measures weren't necessary.

Thanks I really like this interpretation. It fits well with my "scar the cradle camping" with the Giants babies end up going to The never never a place in the underworld that sits outside of compromise and hidden from chaos.

  8. Love LutherArkwright its my kids favorite RPG (but as a PG version) even my new camping I started with M-Space sorta morphed back into LutherArkwight as the kids have decided that their spaceship must've been self aware and able to jump between parallels as well as hop around the galaxy. That wasn't the plan but I went with it. So the ship now  takes them from parallel parallel and between universes as it deems necessary dropping The players off to stop the next universe Ending catastrophe. So the game is now M-Space/LutherArkwright/Doctor Who thay are having a blast.

Very eagerly awaiting "parallel lines" thanks for all the hard work.

  9. Ok the giants  that use the cradle's to take their babies to the underworld to, grow up. Are thay cusiderd dead? One other question if giants  going into the underworld is a natural part of the giants lifecycle what did they do befor The spike exploded?

  10. Red agate was commonly used for seals in the Bronze Age so thought maybe a dragon seal would look cool at the end of the pommel. added some examples of Red agate carvings and seals

  11. Am hoping to have the finished sword be vary Mythras themed. But not shure how I would do that. Was mainly thinking of using the Artwork that would be part of the handle and scabbard to do this. Replicating the DM dragon as a insignia? Any ideas?

  12. The self bow is made out of Hickory that I had harvested my self using a copper axe that I had made. I will never do that again it took me 8 Hr 43 min with the help of two other people using all primative tools to cut down and split the tree for 4 staves.

  13. Ok a bit different but I think it still count counts as art work. A bronze sword I have been working on way to long and a self bow I made for my daughter. Hope to have a  full set bronze weppons casted and ready for next GenCon.

Very much so. It's simply that Aeon haven't had chance to print it yet.

    No

    Very unlikely.

There's an entire campaign back being edited right now.

    Vary excited about this.
