Making the armor was a lot of fun.

Wow thanks for posting the Pictures I been so busy with work after GenCon I have not had a chance to look at the forms. My girls had a great time and all the people at Chaosium where grate and grate fun to talk to. 

Some distinctions about RQG I feel that really separates it from other RPG. Are the races are Are vary unique from each other and not some Token reprint. That there’s not some silly alignment system. What’s right and wrong is based on your race and culture. I don’t know many other games out there that can have two groups fighting each other both thinking That there absolute doing the  right thing. 

I’m looking to start a new campaign. Where I want magic powerful  But very dangerous for the caster with consequences for the use of magic. 

Some ideas I have so far.

Pow Is essential for life. When rolling up the character I will use 6+2d6. 8 Pow Being the minimum you can have to sustain life, Being the energy that binds your spirit to the body. As a result a pc must have at least 8 mana. If a player where to cast a spell Resulting in them going below eight would Immediately cause of your problems for the PC. Some ideas I have for the problems that it would cause.

    1. The players spirit  would Immediately try to Restore the shortage of manna bring it back to 8. Restoring deficit in MP by ?

             A. Pulling that energy from the physical body resulting in   Physical damage. I’m thinking 2 hp for every MP restored. 

             B. By Aging the character. 

             C. Damaging the characteristic STR INT DEX exc

             D. Your body becoming Temporary Vampiric Drawing energy from People you have a connection to physically damaging them.

             E. As the 8 MP Is what is needed To connect to your Spirit to the body. For every magic point below 8 Roll d 20 For location That part of the body ceases to        work Untill mana is restored.

Would love to hear more ideas no consequences of low MP.

I have a lot more I want to post about how magic behaves on this world. But I will have to finish up Tomorrow as I jest Noticed that it’s after 12:00 am and I need to be at work 5:00 am .

It is fun to make the items. But the best part is seeing how much fun my kids have playing with the stuff. There way excited for GenCon this year I have promised to make them full outfits = armor, weapon, accessories etc  this year about 50% done but have a lot of work to go, but I’m starting to feel the time crunch.

Some RPG items  I have been making for my kids.

Some more work done on the project. I’ll put copper pins in the sword handle. I’m thinking of putting the  characters family story from the RQG Etched into the sword. And pant the rune on to the 3 self bows I been working on. Any suggestions for the runes I should use for the 3 deferent stile Bowes. I will start working on the armor next week.

Vary Excited for this. 

Yeah the lizards Would be a no go, but maybe I could find a Barney the dinosaur suit out there and have it attack people that would be scary.

Now the Suit of armor, sword and Shield I can definitely do and have it at Gen Con I was to use here armor Of the new cover But maybe I’ll do both.

I’m up for Replicating Just about anything shown or Pictured in any of the Glorathan Material Is there anything anybody would really like to see done?

The two Children above are my Girls they had a great time at the Chaosium booth. And loved  playing  Khan of Khans game I think they want to go back there at lest 6 times to play the Game again. It’s a very fun family game. Worth picking up if you haven’t already. Going to sho My girls that Picture thanks for posting it. 

The harpoon I will white wash and age to try to get it to look like bone. The etching I will fill in Black shoe polish so they stand out better. The swords I plan to etch with stores  as well and of coarse add realistic handles to them.

You can bring fake swords and the tips are not sharp even though they look like in the picture. Also there vary thin so they would not hold up to even light play pretty much jest for looks. But at GenCon there all sorts of fake weapons.

The hollow planet/place/thing was a pain in the ass and is a map that I’ll probably never finish. As keeping track of all the prospective was giving me headaches. Planter/place/thing is a good description as I had no real idea for the place, other then a crazy 3D world. 

I thought it be fun to Replicate some of the items out of RQG. My kids will be will be using them As part of their outfits at GenCon. Still have a lot of work to do but I think they look pretty neet when they’re done.

It ended up being quite a fun and ongoing adventure. In our current campaign World, Orcs are called the soulless. Orcs Originated 9 centuries ago win the earth was under the dominion of the  Azalea commonly called the Devourers. As the Azazel Sustained life and gained power through the consuming of Sentient  souls. A great shaman of the human tribes in the  highlands had combated this by  binding the highland tribes soils to a Giant quartz crystal hidden deep with one of their Sacret caves. Then Bound the spirit of The great boar to his People. This made the tribe For the most part invisible to the Azazel as they  can only see the spirit nature of things. Overtime the people and there Descendants of this ritual took on a much more brutish aperance. Within 500 years the Orcs had Grown in numbers to the point that they became a Serious threat to the Azazel. But Enough of the history as it stands now in my campaign word the Azazel are looking to once again Conquer man. But Have been doing it from the shadows  using religion to encourag the wars and hat between the orcs and man. Also the time is right for a new binding Which will happen as the last part of the wedding ceremony Which the players will be part Of they have Decided to help combat the Azazel. As of yet they have not really asked the Shaman What’s really involved In the ceremony.  Or  realized that technically they could be bound to any Spirit animal type. 

 These two pictures were used in the recent adventure that My groups my characters had deal with Trying to hold alliance together where the piece agreement. Will be sealed With marriage to end a 30 year war. The  slightly Better looking  woman is what the young Prince was led to believe his soon-to-be wife would  looked like. And the other is the one is What she actually looks like the most prized woman of renown amongst the orcs. He must marry her true intent. To the satisfaction of the orcish shaman. To prevent Destruction of the kingdom by Orcish hords. The players job is to make sure the marriage happens And that the prince doesn’t back out.

Mythras is another grate rule system and probably the closest rules to Legened out there. But I would happily buy any new product written for Legened or Revolution.

We’ll jest picked up my family’s tickets for GenCon we had a great time last year and are looking forward to this year. Will be running some games agin this year I was wondering if anyone had any requests for adventure  they would like to see available? Classic fantasy always works out well as it is a name that People search for when they’re looking for a event to get a ticket for. When I ran classic fantasy all the slots were gone within the first 15 minutes so it is a wonderful product to use  to introduce people to Mythras.

We’ll Jest purchased my family’s GenCon Bages we had a grate time as a family last year. My kids enjoyed GenCon more then DisneyWorld so if you never taken your family I would encourage you to do so.  Looking forward to this year.
