I have been gaming since the TSR white box set in 1978. I began playing Call of Cthulhu in 1982.
I started writing a few years back and have had several monographs published by Chaosium. Undying Leaders, Mysteries of Tibet and Mysteries of Sudan. I have had scenarios published in Halloween Horror Returns! and most recently BRP Adventures.

  1. Just stopping by because I have not visited the forum for awhile. Mark me down as another old fart. I started with D&D in 1978. Played or run D&D, AD&D, Call of Cthulhu, Traveller, Boot Hill, Top Secret, Ringworld, Champions, Mechwarrior, Paranoia, Shadowrun, Vampire, and probably a few others that I have long since forgotten. Throw in some of the old Avalon Hill and SPI board games along with many hours of Battletech in the late 80's.
  2. Hi Nick, I just downloaded Uncounted Worlds from the Chaosium website. Chaosium Inc. Just started reading through it. Well done! Looks like you put a lot of effort into it. Good timing on the release along with BRP Quickstart.
  3. We also lost Bob Bledsaw the founder of Judge's Guild products. He passed away on April 19th 2008.
  4. Good! Hopefully the authors will receive their contributor copies soon. I wonder what extra book will be included? I was kind of hoping that Chaosium would have copies of Terrors from Beyond by the time the BRP contest prizes were being shipped.
  5. Chad, I was somewhat remiss in not asking what you are working on? Care to comment on any current project(s)?
  6. Thanks for pointing me to this forum Chad! Yes, that is what I am currently working on and it will take the better part of this year in my spare time. I may end up modifying "the world" slightly that I presented in my contest entry but it will have the same "dystopian future" flavour.
  7. Good news! I found the email from Dustin addressing the question about PDF's counting towards the 500 total. Quote from Dustin:
  8. Good to hear that my monograph is being put to good use. Although I do have a passing interest in the Andes I currently have no plans on producing a monograph for that setting.
  9. Hi! When Dustin contacted me last year to let me know that Mysteries of Tibet would be available in PDF form he also confirmed that any PDF sales counted towards the initial 500 total in the monograph agreement. I am not sure if I have the original email archived somewhere since I have since switched computers. When I get a chance I will have a look for it. Jason Williams
  10. That is great to hear! I did try to make the general setting as "generic" as possible.
  11. Hi! I just signed up to the forum. If anybody has any questions or comments about my scenario I would love to hear from you! Jason Williams
  12. Greetings from Atlantic Canada! My name is Jason Williams. I usually post over on the Yog-Sothoth forum or the Acaeum but Chad Bowser sent me a note that my name had been mentioned in the BRP Adventures thread so I thought I would drop by and say hello. Quick introduction: I started gaming back in 1978 with the D&D white box rules and discovered Call of Cthulhu / BRP in 1982. I have been playing/collecting Call of Cthulhu books ever since. Personal life in the last few years have gotten in the way of me doing much actual gaming but I am hoping that will change in the near future. Over the last few years I have been doing a bit of writing and have had several monographs published by Chaosium (Undying Leaders, Mysteries of Tibet and Mysteries of Sudan). At the moment I am working on a campaign setting based on my scenario that was included in the BRP Adventures monograph. (Down the road I will be looking for playtesters).
