Captcorajus, I actually subscribed to you after seeing your 4 part series on D&D 1st - 4th. Great stuff! Keep up the great work.

So, I am prepping to run Masks of Nyarlathotep for my gaming group. One thing I have read in many different areas while doing research and prep work is to make sure that the investigators are invested in the well being of Jackson Elias so that when they find him in the first chapter they are emotionally invested in finding out who killed him. I like this idea and want to run around 6 or 7 one shot scenarios highlighting a PC in each to show how they know Jackson and foster that sense of closeness to him. Now just so it is stated none of the players have been through Masks before or have read it which is a bonus. Here are the PC occupations: 1) Dr. of Anthropology 2) Dilettante 3) Photojournalist 4) P.I. 5) Amatuer Occultist 6) Doctor of Psychology My question is does anyone have any good recommendations as for one shot scenarios that could be tailored to this? I am looking to stay in the 1920's era given the timeline in Masks. Please also know that one of the players has a plethora of CoC material to use as he is a collector so no shortage of stuff to pull from. With that being said I appreciate and thank anyone for any ideas that are given.

I find that the majority of Mansions of Madness is suited well to a Con game setting with the exception of The Plantaion. I have ran both Mr. Corbit and Crack'd and Crooked Manse as well for a con. I am currently prepping El Tigre, y la Pirámide de Destrucción from Blood Brothers 2 for a convention as well.

Already made my FLGS aware and am planning on running CoC for the event. Looking forward to it.
