  1. As long as this does not make you split the party in an awkward manner - let them join the Mi-Go agents. If only to let them experience the terror of interaction with Fungi from Yuggoth. If I were you, I would run a side adventure for this single player when he goes through some kind of Mi-Go bootcamp - Mi-Go would abduct him first because it is too risky to let an outsider into their current tactics. Then, at Broken Mountain, the character would be exposed to such horrors that over one session they go insane.

  4. Yes, I have to admit that my group split at the mine entrance. And did not want to explore, only tried to locate the missing investigators and sneak out. There is little incentive to explore these mines, like there is little incentive to wander around a minfield looking for something unspecified. Unless the players have an imperative to go head-on against anything that the GM throws at them, "8 out of 10" would not enter.
  5. Well, I am afraid I have to agree with you on this one. The 6th episode is probably the weakest part of the campaign. I think it looks really bleak in comparison with the old scenarios and campaigns of yore. The post-climactic mood of this part borders on grotesque, it looks like some kind of a Hollywood sequel - not very Lovecraftian. If anything, I would really recommend this part is rewritten for the published version of the campaign. That being said, I am a big fan of A Time to Harvest campaign Ep 1-5 and my players are enjoying it a lot (1st group is going int o Episode 5, the other finishing Ep. 2). Chaosium has given us another great set of scenarios. It the end is a wee bit disappointing, that is probably because we are used to really great stuff from you guys!
  6. Yes, sanity can be increased beyond POW to max 99-CM. Experience packages alter current sanity.
  7. I GM CoC since 1999 and I have to say that this scenario is one of the best I ever ran. Easy, dangerous, coherent. Just love it.
