  1. Sounds awesome but looks like they messed up a little bit in Canada, but I would like one of my PCs to die by the priest hand as well. Unfortunately the summer is in the way (trips, leavings) and we stuck after the 2nd episode and the 4th one in on the way.
  2. Actually I wouldnt care that much about not joining chemist/historian (or others). You can blame that on the mi-go not being so accurate at assessing the brains. Putting a new brain into a known NPC's body will be even much more fun for... well... maybe not for the players, but for you. I made Clarissa a second in command, so I wouldn't choose her, but I think any other NPC would do
  3. p 15 - (mi-go interview). Shouldn't he say "Release us" instead of "Release me"? Since he's been using plural since the beginning. p 17 - do we need the 01 effect? Since it's the same as "passed"? p 24 - It is written: In French, below the face, it says: Do you know this man? Nathan Roche, age unknown. Please contact Detective Degarmo at La Tuque Police Station. The investigators can easily steal the sketch from the wall, presuming the desk sergeant is distracted. I would suggest sepperating the text, cause it looks like the part "The investigators can easily steal the sketch from the wall, presuming the desk sergeant is distracted." is also written on the poster. p 28 - "so many men passing through this doors hat he can’t quite place him." - (that)
  4. And the second episode went almost TERRIBLY wrong for the players of course. Only one of them agreed to go to meet Block at the Hangman's Hill (cemetery). His friends were hinding in the fog, they didn't hear a thing what Block said. In the escape scene TWO investigators got shot - one who knew about mi-go and their plan. He died because of getting shot from an electric gun. So the other PCs had no clue of a coming attack on the library and the lab. Amnesia - in the total chaos my PCs managed to stop the agents from stealing the books but again another investigator got killed from a mist projector. Books save, half of library burnt, Pasqualium taken, proferos Learmonth left with no brain. PCs didn't even get to the wood house. My conclusion - the mi-go weapons are very powerful and the whole campaign is... how to put it... murderous? deadly? 1. episode - 2 casualties (became agents) 2. episode - 3 casualties (one frozen, two electrified)
  5. This is very helpful. Could you please dig that article up? Thank you in advance.
  6. In my game PCs agreed to stay in the car. I think I build a good level of authority for Blaine, and they just listened. Of course they wanted to go after him, but after couple of metres they stopped because of the heavy rain. Besides other studends like Roderick Block kept investigators from doing reckless things - I used them as a voice of conscience
  7. I have another shocker for you He gave birth when she was 15, so she got pregnant at about 14 yrs old.
  8. Thank you all. My players already noticed her strange manly behaviour (scratching her groin or buttcrack and then smelling the fingers, that's what men do, right?), so they are suspicious about Clarissa, but she will do fine as a new semi-leader (besides profesor Harrold/Dafne). I agree about the dice results. Why should I push on not giving them benefits of good/lucky rolls. But what do you mean later? Do you suggest that now, without Jarvis, things will go slower and that should be a part of these benefits? He got punched in the face (after getting an extreme-success-shot in his arm. He was knocked down and got hit in his head on a garbage can, spilling blood on the pavement. I assume his brain was not destroyed and I have plans for his return But, my fellow GMs, I have another problem. How would you solve it? PCs killed a student (Laslow/Jarvis), probably somebody's seen them. The climax of the story is coming (fire, amnesia etc.) and would you additionally put police and detectives following PCs? Or maybe should I put suspects strait to jail? Who will then finish the story? Now I have 3 out of 5 characters from ep. I (2 were turned into migo agents), and if 2 of those 3 will go to jail, maybe the rest wont be interestedy in the story - "We weren't in Cobb's Corners, it's not our business".
  9. Blaine died. PCs got into his flat and they noticed Jarvis escaping through a window. There was a very exciting chase which ended in a dark alley - Jarvis vs 3 investigators (which managed to catch him). He had to less MP to disappear so he pulled out his alien pistol and shot - miss - one PC gets his revoler and *BOOM* critical hit, Jarvis is dead. As for a 300 yrs old mi-go assassin I thought much more of him, but after Blaine's murder he had too less MPs on him, so casting a spell was out of question. I didn't expect that to happen, but it did, cause i didn't want to push on artificial Jarvis' escape. What now? There is a cemetery scene coming in which he should materialise next to Clark and threat with an electric gun. Who do you suggest as a replacement? Clarrisa maybe?
  10. Hi, I run Time to Harvest in polish and I always translate every handout. Is it possible to put for dowloading just the letterhead from Ep.2 page 15? Or is it maybe already somewhere on Chaosium website? In high-res please. Thank you.
  11. Thank you, that explains a lot. Cause in my session, players after talking to all the townfolk came up with an idea: The most responsible for the whole thing is definately THE MAYOR (they didnt even see him)! And I got consufed, where is the mayor? Who runs the town. But now I can sleep well, thanks jajagappa.
  12. Does the town have a mayor? Or does the sheriff run the whole show?
  13. Yesterday my PCs used dynamite for 2 reasons: 1) to scare the zoogs in maple forest (it worked for a minute) 2) to blow up the Dream Gate... it didn't work out.
  14. In my game there was dynamite in the general store in Cobb's Corners. One PC even bought two (how do you call them) sticks. I allowed it, especially if they were gonna fight the moon beast with no weapons at all (only wooden sticks and rocks... oh come on). I even let them by a revoler, assuming that the trader (can't remember his name) just wanted to earn some money on passing by students. There is no harm in a revoler and some dynamite, right? :)))
  15. Of course. I made a film about it. It's in polish, but the idea is just to see my GamingRoom ("Gralnia" in polish). You can see how it looked like, and how it looks like after 3 months of changes. TIME: 1:08 - How it first looked like 3:20 - How it looks like now. 9:35 - Player's space 13:45 - GM's space 15:00 - Projector 15:33 - lights 28:06 - Dice Tower (very cool stuff) 28:57 - projector presentation
