Bought Bandit Ducks pre-sale, but worth every extra penny! 😄

The Call of Cthulhu answers to your questions are:
1) Key part of spell missing.
2) Arkham Sanitarium.
3) Killed, killed, driven insane.
4) Became cultists of Nyarlathotep.
😜

Dr. Hardy really has done a lot of great modelling for Keepers in the text. Read carefully and you'll be rewarded! The text is heavily cross-referenced, especially whenever there need to be callbacks to prior parts, or reminders of future setup.

Still not in the Canadian warehouse... come on baby!
Thanks for bringing that up. I edited the title and will get in the habit of checking the warehouse icons before I post. I'm not trying to tease anybody. I hope our friends to the North and our friends Down Under (and other territories) get it soon!

Not a Chaosium product, but Arc Dream Publishing's Impossible Landscapes has some of the best modelling of the King in Yellow in game execution I've read.

That all costs creators more. What if we’d rather you just bought an attractively-printed, nicely-bound copy of our book?
Six Seasons in Sartar ordered. 😉

How big of an increase Nick? Can you say? If they're going to go up a buck a piece, I'm not going to be in a rush. But if they're going up something ridiculous like 25%+, that is different.

This is Call of Cthulhu Classic. It's all for second edition. Nothing updated to 7th.
Thanks for clarifying Rick!

Howdy-
Will the campaign and adventures be converted to 7E CoC or is this just a retro type of product for collectors?
It sounds to me that this is a retro product. On Twitter, another fan mentioned that, in an AMA, Mike Mason said that Shadows of Yog-Sothoth has been converted and is currently in the playtest phase as a separate product? So, although I don't know for sure, I think that this is a retro product and what is in here is early editions.
Just as an aside, that is a LOT of material to convert to 7th and update the layout for. Mike has mentioned many times that, for smaller companies like Chaosium, a great deal of strategizing goes into the mixture of totally new, updates, and reprints. As he's said, the reprint strategy is for supplements that go for "collector" prices and have been out of print for a while. Original first edition box sets can go for as high as 750 USD. By Kickstarting this, Chaosium doesn't have to take a big financial risk on a retro product. Smart, in my opinion.

If we got half of those scenarios I'd be floored.

And if you look at the file name at the very top of the image it says 1e! Of course, that image of Cthulhu is iconic and art style matches too. 😉

You have great ideas and I say run with them! Any game system is what you make of it. Call of Cthulhu is very history-genre-adjacent and CoC rules run perfectly as a history game. There are also plenty of ways to run weird sci fi with it as well. The Pulp Cthulhu rules, as suggested by Nick, are probably the way to go.
Consider the Mythos races that have potential for more Sci-Fi tech: Serpent People, Mi-Go, and The Great Race of Yith. Their technology can be plucked out of a Mythos-context and put in any context you want. We all love reading role-playing supplements. I read role-playing supplements for inspiration. Ideas are ideas. The context is whatever you choose to put them in.
You can always bounce ideas off us here!

My apologies if this has an obvious answer. Search isn't helpful and no mention in the errata.
How do Keepers adjudicate the combination of Armor and Flesh Ward? Apply all damage to Flesh Ward first, then Armor?

Now, I have a lot of ideas for this, but I am curious to see what other people would expect to see, and maybe farm out some ideas to flesh out the adventure a little more. The biggest issue I am running into is I just can't decide whether it's Mi-Go feeding the Nazis information to see what they will do, and experimenting on those they use, or if the Nazis have actually contacted some ancient god and have gone mad from what they have seen, and are part of that god's greater design, or if they just are dealing with smaller monsters, and controlling them to bring about a fourth reich.
Whether intended or not, I would personally avoid risking sending the message that Nazi decisions were controlled by the Mythos. It risks implying that Nazis lacked choice and/or responsibility, and can be interpreted as "excusing" their actual historical actions.
But the other stuff sounds great. I think the human threat of Nazism pairs well with the Mi-go.

You can alter Edge of Darkness pretty easily so that it focuses mostly on investigation and ritual with no need for combat.

Somebody knows if I choose the Dodge Skill it spends the Half Dext in the number of Education skills points?
If Dodge is a skill that is part of an Occupation or chosen as part of a flexible choice in an Occupation you can use Occupation skill points toward improving it.
