Given the amount of snake imagery in the Earth Goddesses book and the ubiquity of the Snake Daughter, it was great that the British Museum Blog has just published an article on some of this imagery. It also includes some spirit houses (for your wyters) and snake pagodas (shrines to Snake Daughter).

Went and saw the Burma Exhibition before Christmas and saw those very objects.  The BM is a fine place to be able to visit for an hour or two - but only if you live in London like me!
