Each Mobile Frame carries either an Assault rifle or - less frequently - a long range cannon. The rifle has a grenade launcher that can fire smoke grenades.

Such a vehicle is way superior to any tank or helicopter due to its manoeuvrability, but it must still be wary of air gunships as it can be easily taken down by missile fire.
