If the name of a god is pronounced dirfferent in another language, does that count as a different name? What if the name of a god you worship has a different meaning in another language? Wouldn´t it be okay to have a different name in that other country? You are Zac, other people might call you son or dad. Do you choose only to answer to one of them? A lot of real world human cultures have different names for the same deity. Some of them were actually titles, but in the understanding of their worshippers that became their names. I find it totally acceptable to have multiple names for one glorantha deity. I actually prefer using local name variants in some of my games.

Es geht in die letzten Stunden: Um 23:59 am heutigen Sonntag ist unserer MYTHIC ROME Crowdfunding beendet. Jetzt ist die Zeit noch einzusteigen!

I am feeling with you. If i had a pal bringing the two new books back from GenCon he would be back in europe on monday earliest. He chould ship the books to me on tuesday. Depending on where this pal is located shipping would take in between 2 and 10 days. So the earliest i could get my hands on these two new books would be August 10th to 18th. But i am on vacation from 12th to 20th. If i order it from my vacation location online directly from Chaosium on August 17th (official release day) the good people at Black Monk will ship them so that the package will reach me in about 5 days. That is Tuesday August 22th. And by then i am back from vacation and will have the time to enjoy my read. 🙂

I am just the headman of the gaming club thatz is publishing the german edition of MYTHRAS. The translation was done by Lutz Reimers, as was the layout. My part is the administrative things: printing, selling, shipping, organizing convention booths, book keeping, etc. AND german original supplements. I HAVE translated in the past (and will do again, soon), but in the moment the german original supplements use up all my time. ROME is a topic that will sell. We are not a company, so we can go the slow way, and convince customers through good translations and interesting topics. 🙂
