  1. The group tracked him down and captured him and kept him tied up in Apple Lane while they went to Hillhaven and found a shaman to exorcise him. After they captured him we did the trip to Hillhaven and negotiations with the shaman in storytelling mode. I wanted them to learn what to do when you have troubles with possession and where to find shamans/kolating, but keep the game from being boring for the player whose PC was possessed.
  2. The funny thing here is that the assistant shaman had about 17 MP remaining when he rolled 00 on the spirit combat roll and then rolled 00 on the spirit combat fumble table thereby surrendering to the much weaker scorpion man spirit even though he had tons of MP left. so if he is able to get back into spirit combat with the 7 POW scorpion man spirit possessing his body it will be anti-climactic. Maybe gives up all his MP as part of the surrender?
  3. If he was somehow able to cast Discorporate (maybe with a Special success on the required meditate roll to account for being stuck in a corner of the possessed body), wouldn't he be able to immediately enter into spirit combat to regain possession of his body? I suppose an attempt at Divine Intervention is always an option. Perhaps the best is to see if he is okay with being a passive observer of the game for a while or maybe play a new PC until the whole mess gets sorted out.
  4. A PC assistant shaman rolled a 00 during spirit combat and "surrendered" to the attacking spirit. He is now a victim of open possession by a ghost of a scorpion man. It may be a while before the party can even attempt to locate him in a snow storm. Does he have any options on his own? He has the rune spell Discorporation from Waha. This is normally requires a one hour ritual to cast. Not sure having the group try and find him and then tie him up and then try and locate a shaman is MGF.
  5. As I said, Storm Bull and Uleria were both involved in the accidental heroquest during the ritual coupling that resulted in the pregnancy. The NPC Uleria initiate was not surprised at the outcome and certainly happy to be part of Uleria's planned pregnancy. Not sure she is to keen on a relationship with a Praxian Storm Bull initiate. Seems like the temple will raise the children. Horns.... hmmm. that sounds interesting.
  6. The only player character is the Storm Bull initiate and he was very interested in invoking Storm Bull during the "ritual" and having little Storm bull babies. Dice were rolled and Storm Bull's fertility engaged with Uleria's. As GM, I decided the offspring were twins who would be important in the Hero Wars. I am not sure what the player of the Storm Bull will want, but expect him to want to nurture his children. I anticipate the Initiates of Uleria will cooperate with his participation, but may give the children to another couple in the tribe to raise.
  7. It was Storm Bull being Storm Bull and Uleria being Uleria and touching the middle plan during an accidental Heroquest which occurred during the ritual coupling. The children (there are twins) have an important part to play in the coming storm of the Hero Wars.
  8. Hmmm... Any other ideas? I assume Uleria forbids abortions unless chaos is involved, but not sure. As context, it was the Temple to Uleria in Apple Lane. An intitiate of Storm Bull was visiting. Something happened during the "ritual" and he channeled Storm Bull and overcame the magic preventing pregnancy.
  9. So many cults have elementals as cult spirits, subject to the Control Cult Spirit Rune Spell. Could the Summon Cult Spirit Rune Spell be used to summon an elemental? If so, why ever select the Summon Elemental Rune Spell as a choice if a Common Rune Spell does the trick?
  10. What if it happened as part of the ritual performed with visitors to the temple? What would the Initiate's options be? Are there cult restrictions? Does the father have any say?
  11. Don’t go on a diet if you love banana pie.
  12. change of RAW. This means that an adventurer who starts a round physically engaged in melee may either: 1..Attack and defend normally; or . 2.Defend normally and cast spells.

  14. How many folks allow characters to cast Rune Magic Buff's such as True Sword and then attack the same round? I do.
  15. High Llama Rider dagger axe one handed polo mallet style!!!
  16. How did the Colymar gain possession of the Wooden Sword from the Aldryami?
  17. Thanks. Seems to be some deep and apparently contradictory lore involved in the history of the Aldryami and the Wooden Sword.
  18. Thanks, but after reviewing that, I am still not sure why Tarndisi the Dryad would be upset at the Colymar for their support of the Temple of the Wooden Sword.
  19. In the adventure The Dragon of Thunder Hills, Leika states that she doubts Tarndisi the Dryad has any love for the Colymar after their support of the Temple of the Wooden Sword. Why would that be the case?
  20. The map of Miskander's Tower for The Grey Crane adventure from Pegasus Plateau and Other Stories leaves out many described elements. As a result, it does not make any sense. Does anyone have a better map for that adventure? Planning to run it at Dundracon in February. Thanks.
  21. Looks like two handed is the way to go.
  22. A dagger axe swung like a polo mallet....🤔
  23. My understanding is that RAW you can’t use 2H swinging weapons from the back of a mount. However the write up for the High Llama Riders implies they use the Dagger Axe from the back of their mount. What is going on with that?
