Archivist Posted August 19, 2021 Share Posted August 19, 2021 I may have misread things but I thought I read that the new Jackals game by Osprey publishing (1) uses open quest and (2) uses an opposed roll where the defender can damage the attacker depending on the roll. I can definitely see inspiration also from other d100 games, including classic BRP/RQ, but at the same time the Clash System is quite unique.
