Chaot
Thought I'd share these. I wrote them up long ago because random generation is FUN! Quote 70/
Marcus Bone
Hi Chaot, any chance of me popping those up on Stormbringerrpg.com? Cheers! Chaot
Absolutely. Do you want me to pretty it up or do you want to take the info and do it yourself? Or do you just want it as is. Quote 70/
soltakss
If you have them in a text file, that would be even better. I could use them to generate a D20/D100 table pretty easily based on a text file. Quote Simon Phipp - Caldmore Chameleon - Wallowing in my elitism since 1982. Many Systems, One Family. Chaot
They're fun. At the time, Sorcerer was the only profession I allowed to have Summon Demon, I think, and the profession had to be rolled, not chosen. I think I had some other short write ups for some of the added professions and a very short descriptor of the places but I don't have the info anymore. If you have them in a text file, that would be even better. I could use them to generate a D20/D100 table pretty easily based on a text file. Sadly, most of my files from this time period are gone. All I have left are the occasional hard copies that I find tucked away. When I have a chance, I'll type this up for you though. I'm happy to pretty them up myself... will PM you the location of them before I put them live! soltakss
Sadly, most of my files from this time period are gone. All I have left are the occasional hard copies that I find tucked away. When I have a chance, I'll type this up for you though. I spent a couple of hours on Sunday putting some of the the information into a spreadsheet. When I am done, I'll generate a whole host of random entries, but it might take a week or so to type in the data. Quote Simon Phipp - Caldmore Chameleon - Wallowing in my elitism since 1982. Just to be clear, I'm also totally happy if you just want to put the jpgs up as is as an example of someone's dog eared document for random generation in their campaign. However you want to approach it, I'm fine with. I spent a couple of hours on Sunday putting some of the the information into a spreadsheet. soltakss
There are some tables which I don't understand - UK Occupation Tables 1,2 and 3 and UK Nationality Tables. I thought they might be typos - should they be for the Unknown East? Quote Simon Phipp - Caldmore Chameleon - Wallowing in my elitism since 1982. Many Systems, One Family. I thought they might be typos - should they be for the Unknown East? Just worked them out - they should be UE Tables and refer to the last table on the page. It would have been easier if they had been in order. Quote Simon Phipp - Caldmore Chameleon - Wallowing in my elitism since 1982. Many Systems, One Family. soltakss
Well, it took a while, mainly typing in the data, but I have generated a D20/D100 sheet based on the above tables. The datafile is at www.soltakss.com/d20d100/stormbringer01.txt and the spreadsheet is at www.soltakss.com/d20d100/stormbringerResult.xls - to use it, roll a D20 and a D100 and check the corresponding line. There may be typos in the names, as I am not really familiar with all the places. Also, the randomness of the data might produce some strange combinations, such as Fair Shaven Hair, but it should save some time rolling dice. Well, it took a while, mainly typing in the data, but I have generated a D20/D100 sheet based on the above tables. Awesome! I'll post more when I get a chance to check it out.
