We're delighted to give you a second preview of Mythic Britain - this time in the form of a complete scenario taken from the campaign section of the book.

Merlin, the High Druid of Britain, sends the characters to retrieve the fabled Coat of Beisrydd, one of the Thirteen Treasures of Britain. To succeed they must find the help of the hero, Gawain, uncover the mysteries of Lindisfarena, and defy the wrath of Mawgaus, Druid-King of the fierce Circind Votadini - a powerful animist known to eat the brains of his enemies.

It's been dug in to   -  on Time Team :-)

The caves of Wemyss in East Fife were the subject of a Time Team dig about 10 years back. Might even be able to find photos of the various caves and the area around them on-line. The broch of the scenario  was later replaced by MacDuff's castle.in the medieval period so no pictures of that but I think there's been at least one broch that's been reconstructed so you could find a helpful picture somewhere..

It's on You Tube - valuable reference for research into this scenario, although I'd known about the Wemyss Caves long before Time Team decided to excavate.
