Well, my vote is a pretty safe bet. People like polls. Voters always way outnumber posters in polls, so it seems something about them attracts people to come on in and click on something, even if they don't post. Silly polls (and threads for that matter) appeal to some people, and not to others - which is really no different than other topics really - some people want to read about certain settings and others don't. If you don't like them ignore them and move on to topics that interest you. I find them (silly/light hearted threads and polls) entertaining, and think some others do too. And in the end, being entertained is why I got into gaming in the first place. And seriously, there ain't that much to talk about until we have more on the game. Covers been done. Schedules been done.

O.k. Until we have actual game material to discuss I'll come up with some assumptions. It is a fair bet to say these options will be represented through optional rules but this is to see what people like for 'special' results, either a single special/critical result or two.

I don't like it all that much. It's not horrible, but nothing great. One thing that I don't like is how the different Grenre's seem to be interacting with eachother. It could give the impression the game has a kind of wierd lost world/sci-fi multi genre setting, rather than being a ruleset that can be used for multiple genres. We of course all know what BRP is about, but someone just looking at the cover might get the wrong impression. Perhaps a poll is in order...

No sarcasm intended - just some teasing in good fun. I apologise if I offended. With your cat related forum names and cat herding references I take it you fancy felines a bit, so the felinoid race bit seemed right "in character" so to speak. There isn't a whole lot meaningful to talk about regarding the upcoming BRP yet, but if you know me you'll realise that rarely stops me from posting.

I gotta go with the mythos for sheer badness. The stat comparison doesn't really work for me. Different worlds. I'd stat the Elder Gods differently for Glorantha. The bat is statted out to be tough against the likes of Argrath. Cthulhu on the other hand is statted out to be tough on Bob the Janitor.

We need a divisive issue first. The Glorantha sub forum thing doesn't just seem to be important enough to warrant a volleyball game.

I imagine Uleria has quite a collection of panties. And she knows what ones you like too. Lacey white is your thing? She's got those. Neon Thongs? Them too. Black Leather - them too. I don't think there is any such thing as latex on Glorantha though. Maybe the Mostali have it, but they aren't sharing it (or making panties). And of course some times... ...never mind. Better to stop now.

I don't know yet - I'll let you know when I get there. Does this poll warrant an experience check?

This is a test to see if I can create polls.

I have some generic fantasy scenarios I may run to take it for a spin. I'm seriously considering some Glorantha.

I can't shed any light on it but was immediately struck by how the image you posted does not in any way say "Multi-Genre". It would be a big mistake I think to go to press with that cover. Someone looking over the book in a store not interested in a Fantasy rule set will immediately write it off.
