  1. Hi

    1. Insane Talents - How many do I the Keeper give out? Only 1 per Hero?

    - the decision on how many insane talents one character may have rests with the Keeper. In most cases, a PC will have one (brought about by an episode of insanity (temp or indefinite). However, in campaign play, it could be possible for a PC to gain others. I would suggest no more than 2 or 3 maximum, but the choice is yours. The idea is for a PC to focus down on one thing - through their madness they gain a new insight about it and can use it to their advantage.

    2. Does the This way Lies Madness section in the Pulp Rulebook refer to ALL insane talents or only augmented skills?

    - This section is referring to Insane Augmented Skills (see Insane skill augmentation (page 78 - no. 19-20 on Table 12: Insane Talents). Meaning, that it only refers to Augmented Skills. Of course, as Keeper, if you wish this to also apply to other Insane Talents, then it could also be applied - your call. Note that an insane skill augmentation is just one category in the range of Insane Talents.

Hope this helps clear things up for you.

    Mike

  2. We continue to update and redevelop older scenarios in balance with new material.

Converting older material remains an easy option for scenarios that have not yet been updated. And vice versa

7th edition continues to be a very popular edition and is bringing new folk to Call of Cthulhu everyday of the week.

It’s great to see the love for the game from old and new players alike. Thanks to you all for continuing to support Call of Cthulhu and Chaosium.

    Best regards and Cthulhu F’tagn!

    Hello,

I'm back to ask about Pulp Cthulhu's NPC Scarlet Arachnis (p. 126). I repared that there are no value for Art/Craft (Sing) skill ... wich it should be?

Another curiosity is about the spell Siren's Song and the relaction Pulp vs Grand Grimoire. The Pulp's version have less MP cost and more duration. It's logically right for me (because of the theme), but, is it right in fact?

    Thx.

Siren's Song in Pulp Cthulhu is a variant of the spell, specifically the version used by the villainous Scarlet Arachnid.

    Scarlet Arachnid's Art/Craft (Sing) is 70%.
