Glad You like this adventure! You are right, that this is a different flavor of Pulp genre, but also enjoyable as the Peril of Sumatra. Maybe we think that the pulp genre is jungle and temples because of Indiana Jones film? They are first what comes to mind when You say pulp. The last scenario in Astounding Adventures book is also different from predecessors, quite good too.
As for rules variation, You should definitely check out Pulp Cthulhu rulebook, even if You do not want to run Cthulhuesque adventures, but what @MikeM does is brilliant! Why use Action Points, when You can use Your luck score for all cool pulp actions? Definitely check this out. Waiting for another scenario report! Good luck!-

Ad. 3. This one-off book maybe is not quite right. I heard somewhere that Ken Hite is writing a campaign for "Fall of Delta Green".

Delta Green from Arc Dream has its own set of rules called Misery Engine based on Legend, not 7th edition Call of Cthulhu.

Check Yourself! Best way is to listen to How We Roll Podcast. The original autor of this scenario @Scott Dorward run it for a bunch of Cthulhu known fans. You can find it on https://howwerollpodcast.com/001-masks-of-nyarlathotep-peru-pisco-sours/. I'm not a part of that game, only big admirer of how it went. But remember this is a pulp version of Masks.

There were scenarios for one player from John Hook as strech goal for last Age of Cthulhu kickstarter. And I think John wrote something for Repository?

Of course it work fine! Especialy with Pulp Cthulhu rules. I've run countless one shots for one player and also big campaigns like Mask of Nyarlathothep, Horrors Heart and Pulp Egypt. If You want read couple of my thoughts about this I invite You to my blog.

A Dirt World is source of good scenarios. There is even an adventure generator just like in Astounding Adventures. It runs on ORE mechanic.

If You have problems with scenario ideas for Your Delta Green games, I highly recommend this podcast: Secure Contain Protect .
You can use episodes as not only ideas for games but also as a handout or even as debriefing files for Your games.
Another way is to incorporate Foundation to Your DG campaign.
This podcast can be found in the usual places.
I'm no part of this podcast, just a fan.

I was waiting for Your game report @Loïc. This is another diffrent kind of flavor of pulp adventure.
Astounding Adventures... I have only one complaint. There are only three scenarios in the book, one another free scenario - Murder in the floodlights (on the net) and nothing more. No campaign, no scenario book. Shame. I know, that inside there is adventure generator, but couple of scenarios in a Book form would be greate!
