  1. All members of the Cult of Keepers get a copy by email. If you're not a member join for free, if you are a member, get them to resend you the link, or ask in the Cult of Chaos part of the forums.
  2. All the Investigators will return to campus as Migo Agents. The new batch of Investigators could then be their friends and classmates, who see them change completely in personality. It then becomes their job to figure out what happened to them on the field trip.
  3. We've got round to episode 3, and there are 2 Investigators who are heavily injured (down to last HP for 1), so they will be held at Mr Abelard's pleasure for some weeks to come. Of course, there are the NPCs to interact with, but there is a large room put aside just for a library by Mr Abelard. Knowing his research preferences, there will of course be large sections for geology, chemistry and engineering, however apart from his Diary, did you gusy put in any other mythos/occult tomes? I have no issue with giving Investigators access to tomes, as in reality, when they pass a mythos check with a skill less than 10%, they deserve all the information they can get on what is about to eat them! And this seems like a great period of down time for them to get in some light reading. FYI, in this game, the players pre-warned Dr Armitage about the possibility of an attack, so the mythos books from the Orne library are safe in his possession, and have not been repossessed by FOC investigators.
  4. Has anyone got an insight into the rules for this? I assume it's stand alone!
  5. Another crater (a bit bigger) can be found here: http://www.terragalleria.com/black-white/parks/np-image.lavo1514-bw.html
  6. I got lucky, in that one PC was caunght and brain swapped, whilct Jason Trent made it to the end of episode 1, as one of the investigators had befriended him (mostly trying to get close to him to see what he was up to), which meant I just had to switch the PC for Jason in chapter 2.
  7. Haven't read through the appendix yet, but I'm really looking forward to running my Quebec group through the Mission to Canada! The name of the town may be a sticking point for a group here though!
  8. I think 4 hours shouldn't be a problem as far as this event goes.
  9. Thanks Jon, I'll have a read. I Haven't ran one shots like this before, so I'm not good at knowing how long various scenarios will take. I was thinking more than an hour though! Crook's Manse seems good, I'll have to make some pre-gens for it. I have Dead Light, I'll look that one through too. Then all I have to do is see if folks turn up to the event!
  10. I have that as a pdf, I'll have a look at it, thanks. I was looking in the GM screen, has anyone tried 'Missed Dues' as a one shot?
  11. I have a group running through a time to harvest as a regular game, but I want to be able to run other one-shots on the side. For example, I<m not sure my FLGS is going to get a copy of the Derelict in time for me to run it on Free RPG day. With this in mind, can you guys recommend other published one-shots or con scenarios that are out there. I do have a large library of CoC books to choose from, but using a hive mind to find appropriate adventures is quicker than reading through all of my books. My Keeper style tends much more towards campaign and sand-box play, so i don't tend to pay attention to the short snappy scenarios out there. Help!?
  12. Thanks for that, I couldn't find in my email when it was to be given out. I guess I'll have to find something else to run on the day if my FLGS isn't registered.
  13. Hi all, I remember in one of the emails I received from the Cult that members would be getting a PDF of the Derelict, the Free RPG day scenario. Do you have any idea when this might be? My FLGS isn't sure they'll get the box for free RPG day (not sure if they're signed up) and I want to run this for them anyway. Obviously, the sooner I have a copy, the better I can prep the game.
  14. Wow, that's a great handout. Very clear. Also better to read, I had inverted the Library and the Diner due to the small numbers on the map I used last night!
