  1. I have been running my Call of Cthulhu 1920s Jazz Era campaign continuously since early May 2019 and we've covered a good deal of scenario material in that time. Before we start a proper, lengthy campaign such as Masks of Nyarlathotep, I want to give the players a chance to experience a different CoC setting for several months before we dive into a year-long Jazz Era campaign. From my research, the official CoC 7th edition campaign settings of note other than the classic 1920s setting are as follows: * Cthulhu Invictus (circa 100 A.D. Roman Era) * Cthulhu Dark Ages (Middle Ages Europe) * Down Darker Trails (late 19th century American Old West) * Cthulhu by Gaslight (late 19th century Victorian England) * Pulp Cthulhu (1930s Depression Era America) * Cthulhu Now (Modern Era) There is also the Dreamlands campaign setting, but this alternate universe can be accessed from the 1920s setting so I would probably just run Dreamlands as part of that campaign if we ever get to it. A number of niche CoC campaign settings are/were available from Chaosium, small, third party publishers on the Miskatonic Repository, or for download/purchase from the publishers' websites: * Achtung! Cthulhu (World War Two), published by Modiphius Entertainment * Atomic Age Cthulhu (1950s), published by Chaosium * Cathulhu (the Investigators are cats!), published by Sixtystone Press * Convicts & Cthulhu (18th century Australian penal colonies), published by Cthulhu Reborn * Cthulhu Confidential (GUMSHOE One-2-One system), published by Pelgrane Press * Cthulhu Dark (rules light system), author Graham Walmsley * Cthulhu End Times - "The Reaping" (22nd century, post-apocalyptic), published by Chaosium * Cthulhu Rising/Cthulhu Icarus (late 23rd century, science fiction), published by Chaosium * CthulhuTech (late 21st century, alien invasion), created by Wildfire LLC * Delta Green (mid 20th century to present, covert organizations), published by Arc Dream Publishing and also Pelgrane Press * Punktown (cyberpunk), published by Miskatonic River Press/Chronicle City * Trail of Cthulhu (GUMSHOE system), published by Pelgrane Press * World War Cthulhu (World War Two, Cold War), published by Cubicle 7 Entertainment If anyone has suggestions, I can add them to the above lists. The forum moderators may also want to pin this list to the top of the Call of Cthulhu forum for easy reference.
  2. Fully funded before midnight EST. Now on to the Kickstarter's stretch goals...
  3. Backed at the $45 level (PDF + print copy). There is only about 90 minutes left before this special first day price expires. The project is about $500 away from being funded, so today's backers will also receive a Cthulhu Invictus PDF of their choice among several options.
  4. I thought I was posting the link to the campaign, but it was only the link to the Kickstarter video. A quick Google search would have revealed the Kickstarter page with reward options. Britannia and Beyond, a regional guide for Cthulhu Invictus
  5. I doesn't look like Chaosium is going to announce this Kickstarter on time, so I will post the link here. Golden Goblin Press launched a new Kickstarter late last night (Thursday, March 12th) for a 7th edition Cthulhu Invictus supplement called Britannia and Beyond. There is an "early bird" reward tier for $45 that is only available until late tonight, March 13th. The Kickstarter is already more than half funded in twelve hours, so pile in and get that early bird reward before its gone. Gratias tibi!
  6. I just ran Missed Dues for my group and we are in the process of running Blackwater Creek. I noted points # 1 and # 4 right away, and would have to check on the other points from my print copy. There are at least several inconsistencies regarding page numbers and the handouts for players, as well as a lack of printable handouts for player use in Blackwater Creek. I had to copy and paste the opening Letter from Henry Roades to Professor McTavish (Handout 1) into a Word doc and print it for the players as it appears nowhere as a single page handout in the book, either print version or PDF.
  7. Any word on receiving a clean copy of Dead Light? I never heard back from Dustin.
  8. Back to the drawing board, I hope. Will Chaosium consider developing and releasing a new science-fiction RPG based on the BRP system, but with a different designer? I have a few ideas concerning who might do it...
  9. I've already e-mailed Dustin in Customer Service about a replacement. Thank you.
  10. I received my print copy of Dead Light today and have the same issue. The images on pages 17, 38, and 41 are very dark and murky, making it difficult to tell what is pictured. Chaosium may want to look into the print copies stored at their warehouse as many or all of them may have this problem.
  11. Companies will probably have to begin to move away from China as a supplier, or at least diversify their supply chain, due to a combination of the current virus crisis and also U.S. trade policy. Coronavirus Could Be The End Of China As Global Manufacturing Hub
  12. Dustin took care of the issue this morning. I didn't receive the digital coupon automatically via e-mail as I had purchased the Dead Light PDF with store credit.
  13. Yes, I checked my spam folder and nothing was there. I then e-mailed Dustin and I am waiting for his reply. Need that Dead Light book ASAP!
  14. Please let us know ASAP as I need to order a print copy of Dead Light for our gaming group which meets next on March 7th.
  15. I ordered the PDF version of 'Dead Light and Other Dark Turns' weeks ago so I could read the material before the print version was available. I want to purchase the print version immediately as I plan on using it for my next gaming session in early March. How do I get the discount coupon for purchasing the PDF first to apply to my order when checking out at Chaosium.com? I haven't received an e-mail with the coupon yet, even though the print version of Dead Light can now be ordered from your website. Thanks
  16. What about the print version of Gateways to Terror? I want to order all three books at once.
  17. The 1st edition of Call of Cthulhu was published in 1981, so we are perhaps less than twelve months away from a 40th Anniversary edition release by Chaosium. Can anyone on staff drop any hints concerning what is planned for the anniversary?
  18. I checked Miskatonic Repository for scenario books related to Cthulhu Dark Ages just before I read this post, and "A Color in a Dark Age" was all I could find. As of now, there are the three Cthulhu Dark Ages scenarios found in the 3rd edition source book and the "A Color in a Dark Age" scenario from Miskatonic Repository but nothing else for 7th edition. If we could get a Cthulhu Dark Ages supplement with five or six scenarios set in Anglo-Saxon England that would greatly improve the material for running this campaign setting.
  19. When will a print copy of Gateways to Terror be available for purchase from Chaosium? I will need a copy by mid-April 2020 so I can run the scenarios at KoboldCon.
  20. Cool. I will need a hardcover copy of Gateways to Terror when I run the three scenarios at KoboldCon in late April this year.
  21. If you are interested in collaborating on a Part III for the Miskatonic Repository, please let me know. I am a published writer and would like to be involved in a scenario project for Call of Cthulhu.
