neorxnawang
Ashes, to Ashes is given a lengthy review today (5 stars content, 3 stars layout) on rpg.net today, courtesy of Chad Bowser. RPGnet : Review of Ashes to Ashes PS Dust to Dust continues to plunk along. I'm up to about 60 pages. The extra rules section, additional gear, new guild, are done; the Western Isles are almost done (just have to stat out the important NPCs at the end of the gazetteer section). The Isles turned out to be a good 30-40 pages. Then comes Takuk (a shorter gazetteer section which I outlined over the weekend) and a scenario set in Takuk. I would like to add several summary adventures (say, 1 page each), sprinkled around the lands, but I think I want to keep this at 100 pages or so. Chaot
I just want to add that Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust are two incredibly awesome titles. Quote 70/
cjbowser
Jeff, I was glad I could be of assistance. It really is a good product. Hopefully you'll see some more sales. I'll be happy to take a look at Dust to Dust as well, when it's finished. Quote Various RPGs I've worked on
neorxnawang
The maps are better this time :-) Ironically, the Western Isles took me six months and a lot of stop-and-start writer's block (theme: sloth). I finished that sucker this weekend. Then I started Takuk (gluttony) and was quite productive, despite all the distractions. It's going to be shorter, but it's writing itself, and some of the "how did this happen" history just kind of clicked. cjbowser
The maps are better this time :-) Sorry about that. But when I saw the maps, the first thing I thought was "Oh no! Russian armor is pouring through the Fulda Gap!" Quote Various RPGs I've worked on
AikiGhost
Looks good. has anyone played it yet? How did it go? Being a rabid Barbarians of Lemuria fan right now I have to ask would this translate to BoL well or is the setting too grim to use with a super heroic S&S system like BoL? cjbowser
One of the things I thought while reading it was that it would be an excellent place to set Mhu Thulan for CAS style sword and sorcery. The magic level is lower than what you might expect (I haven't read BoL, so I can't say for certain), but can easily be increased.
