allenowen
What is the significance of Orlanth having the following Runes by his name?: Movement-Air-Air-Mastery Or Humakt having Death-Truth-Death?
soltakss
These are the Runic Association of the Deity. Where a deity has a double- Rune it means that the Deity owns the Rune. so, Orlanth owns the Air/Storm Rune and Humakt owns the Death Rune. They're the god who's strongest associated with that rune and can access all of its powers. Urox may be able to use Air to whip up desert storms and stinging wind, but he couldn't make rain and thunder. Orlanth, owner of Air, could do all that and more.
