Kingdaddy
If anyone has a copy and is willing to sell for a reasonable price, please send me a message. I was in the middle of reading it when I moved, then lost it in the shuffle of the move.
Ant
Anyone who reads this, please lobby Chaosium, any way you can, to allow the Chaos Society to republish The Widow's Tale by Penelope Love. It's a crime to suppress it. Edited February 24, 2021 by Ant

"The Widow´s Tale" is IMHO such a great story, such a good Glorantha representation that it deserves better than merely being republished by a fan organisation. Maybe, one day, The Widow´s Tale" will be available in a larger print run, and with the Pendragon dragon logo and the publisher name "Chaosium" on it´s spine. That is what i would like to see for this story.

How could the ball start rolling to turn this into a reality? Surely if people started to register their support for republication it would be a good thing. It would be a very great shame if it was forgotten and never reached the wider audience it deserves.

Suppress is the wrong word born out of fragments of information from the net as to why it's no longer available. Is there anything that myself and others who would dearly like to see it published again in some form can do? Would Chaosium consider putting it out, maybe in pdf form initially? (if Penelope Love didn't object of course) As Andre Jarosch said - On 2/24/2021 at 8:34 PM, AndreJarosch said: Maybe, one day, The Widow´s Tale" will be available in a larger print run, and with the Pendragon dragon logo and the publisher name "Chaosium" on it´s spine. Rick Meints
I'd start by asking Penelope Love what should would like done with the book. 7 Quote Hope that Helps,Rick Meints - Chaosium, Inc.
StoryinPictures
Perhaps the author, Penelope Love, would be willing to publish it as a kindle book. If it sold well, it would be easy to pick up a publisher or to persuade Chaosium they wouldn’t lose money on it. I’m sure it isn’t easy being a game publisher. And Kindle is *much* better than nothing. Word of mouth marketing (plus the author’s fan base) would ensure a pretty good return for publishing it on Kindle in any case, which is relatively easy to do with a finished manuscript in hand. I should have asked her, when I interviewed her. 🤦♂️ 2 Quote Read my Runeblog about RuneQuest and Glorantha at: http://elruneblog.blogspot.com.es/
