Help picking a couple of scenarios

I am going to be taking my players through a couple of learning scenarios before we move on to something bigger.  I'd like to use three scenarios to highlight different sections of the ruleset. One for investigations, one for combat, and one for chase sequences.  I don't need connected links between them and I'd rather do 3 seperate adventures to give them time to acclimate to the system instead of trying to get it all done in one.  I'm going to run Dead Lights for the chase, and Blackwater Creek for the combat, but I am having a hard time coming up with a scenario mostly based on investigation.  Feel free to give me better suggestions for any of them!

Crimson Letters from the Keeper's Rulebook is a solid choice for that.

Crimson Letters was the one I was probably going to go with if I couldn't come up with something else.  Nice call.

Paper Chase from the Starter Set is also a primarily investigative scenario, which might not involve any combat at all.

I would, however, make some tweaks to the scenario to make it a bit more interesting.

That's a great scenario too. Unfortunately I ran that for one of my players to get them interested in the first place. It worked well 😄. I'd like to include them instead of making them sit one out.

You can alter Edge of Darkness pretty easily so that it focuses mostly on investigation and ritual with no need for combat.

My groups are more action oriented so I try to add a more action packed  scenarios to my campaigns. Good examples of action packed scenarios is Darkness Beneath the Hill, Madness in London town, the Curse of Nineveh and alot more.

I think Crimson Letters is a perfect choice and encourage you to stick with it! 😃

It's a great scenario, you probably already own it and it's focused on investigation!
