jp1885
The Hindhead Tunnel only opened in 2011, so how could it be haunted? A dead voyeur, a secret garden centre and the Ghost Cars of Guildford all combine to take the investigators on the race of their lives! My latest case file, Speed Demons! is attached. I hope you like it! Speed Demons.pdf

JohnK
Hullo, jp1885, Just finished reading your new scenario, "Speed Demons." Really enjoyed that case file, and can't wait to run it. Just brilliant! 🙂

JohnK
Hullo, jp1885, Will definitely let you know when I get a chance to run "Speed Demons"! Out of curiosity, do you think it would be suitable to run at a game convention in a 4-hour slot? Oh, and thanks for posting Adam's latest case file. Read over it, and like a lot of it but the focus on military characters doesn't really appeal to me. Won't stop me from running it at some point, though I'll have to tweak it somewhat.
jp1885
Hmm… I reckon it’d take a tad too long for a convention if all of the aspects are explored. I’d try Bloodhounds of Bermondsey or Why Was He Born So Beautiful? as they’re less complex perhaps. Edited August 24, 2023 by jp1885
JohnK
Hullo, jp1885, Yeah, I figured "Speed Demons" might be too long to run at a convention, so had thought of the other two you mention as possibles. I know the folks at Chaosium have a couple (perhaps more?) convention scenarios they use, but don't know anything about them as yet. Hopefully they'll release them to us poor mugs at some point down the road. I'll be needing one or two of them come May of 2024. 🙂
jp1885
Alternatively, Fairy Cakes is a fun one-shot (I can't comment on any of Adam's case files, as I haven't run them yet!)
JohnK
Hullo, jp1885, Hadn't considered "Fairy Cakes" for one of the one-shot convention type scenarios. Will have to look at that one again. Having looked over Adam's case files, I didn't really think that any of them would work for convention games. Maybe we just have to all team up and write one ourselves? 🙂
jp1885
I’ve been trawling the net for more RoL:RPG case files and have found these two, written by Paul Fisher, on Reddit. They’re very good!
