Vittoriano
I'd like to introduce my friends to the BRP system (I bought recently the new phical book at my local store) in the near future, but some of them are not quite fluent in english. Do you know if there is a editable charachter sheet so I can easily translate it ? Thanks all! Vittoriano
rsanford
I don't know where an editable character sheet for BRP is, though I wouldn't be surprised if there is one... However, I wonder if @RosenMcStern of Alephtar Games might have a Italian version of the character sheet about somewhere... Any ideas Rosen? Also .... The download section of this site has several character sheets including a few that can be edited if you have a PDF editor, and one that can be edited with MS Word. There is a MS Word version here that is editable -> https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/270-word-version-of-my-crappy-brp-sheet/ Here is a PDF character sheet that seems to be editable if you have PDF edit software. I used FlexiPDF… -> https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/81-brp-character-sheet-11e-fillable-form/. Here is another one -> https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/318-generic-brp-charsheet-wh-40k-no-san-fillable (but I get a warning that this file also has JavaScript). Here is another one (that doesn’t have JavaScript) -> https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/308-brp-fantasy-character-sheet/ and here is one from Pansophy, that matches the char sheet in the original book -> https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/230-brp-genuine-sheet-fillable/ Edited November 11 by rsanford 1 1 Quote Check out our homebrew rules for freeform magic in BRP -> No reason for Ars Magica players to have all the fun! rsanford
Hey @Vittoriano, I noticed on your profile that you have an interest in Roman history. Alephtar Games used to sell a fantastic book on Rome that used BRP mechanics called aptly “BRP Rome”. Alephtar Games no longer has rights to the material as I understand it, as the book’s author, Pete Nash, eventually ported the book over to Mythras where it is now available from The Design Mechanism. I typed all that just to say that you might have an interest in tracking down a used copy of BRP Rome. 1 Quote Check out our homebrew rules for freeform magic in BRP -> No reason for Ars Magica players to have all the fun! I think Giochi Uniti might still have in stock some copies of the old Stratelibri BRP in Italian (circa 1996). It is a very, very reduced set based on the old 32-page booklet, but it is still enough to wet the appetites of Italian players and persuade them to study Jason's latest "opus magnum" in English. And of course there's a character sheet, albeit simplified. Quote Proud member of the Evil CompetitionTM

I'll check for BRP Rome next! 5 minutes ago, RosenMcStern said: I think Giochi Uniti might still have in stock some copies of the old Stratelibri BRP in Italian (circa 1996). Thank you for the information, I'll check with my local "dealer", which is very good in finding old gems 🙂

It is essentially the same content, the original being BRP Rome, that was later revised for Mythras.
