sladethesniper
Is this a decent enough format for NPCs (on top) and the same character as a unit for a wargame? The rules set is BRP-ish and am hoping that it is self explanatory enough. Comments? -STS Quote Vhreaden: Blood, Steel and Iron Will is here! Atgxtg
It looks good for a "named" NPC- that is someone worthy of their own sheet.Would rank and files guys would be more standardized in abilities (I.e Green, Average, Veteran, Elite, or some such)? g33k
How do you derive the unit's "Off" & "Def" from the character sheet? I'd expect those numbers to be directly-comparable in an "off vs def" sort of way. Is it that the guns are almost-pure-Off, and so much more dangerous than rapier&dagger? But that ignores the missing "ROF" from the character-sheet... I guess I'm puzzled by off/def being fixed values on the unit, vs the more-dynamic situation of gun-or-blade / ranged-or-melee. sladethesniper
Ah, yes... So the top part is the NPC write-up example for BRP/D100 games. The bottom half with the green icon is the write up as a unit for my wargame Strife. I put them together so as to have all the NPC stuff I need in one place (for both my D100 game/BRP based RPG Platinum and my wargame, the aforementioned Strife). The Offense and Defense is a fixed value as the wargame uses a d100 Combat Results Table (CRT) modified by terrain, weather, etc. -STS Quote Vhreaden: Blood, Steel and Iron Will is here!
