It's that Foundchild eternally hunts the Silver Deer, but never catches it. See the box on 271 of Borderlands and beyond. It's the lunars that trap it using foreign magic. I wrote this for a game: During the Lunar advance into Prax, an Orogerian hunter came upon the Silver Deer in salaseh. Through its silver form she saw Purendi, and so he was distracted by her hunting call and was hers. (unless your a Lunar) I was curious if there might be a Hero Quest in which you fail to catch the deer but could still gain insight of some skill of another sort... has anyone done something like that or written stages for a "Foundchild Hunts the Silver Dear Hero Quest". I found the entry in the Entekosiad interesting: Ever since then the hunters of Kenstrata pray to their prey with terms of endearment, and often weep and cry before they go hunting.
