It seems curious the description for both books is identical. Mongoose published the first while it had the RuneQuest license, then reissued the book for its renamed Legend system after the RuneQuest 6 guys got the contract. nclarke Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 The 'of Legend' books are mostly the MRQII books reformatted to fit the digest size and sometimes with some errata and/or changes to remove all reference to Glorantha. It has lots of fluff and detail for a Japan based game. Hi there, There are a few tweaks in Samurai of Legend, but if you already have Land of the Samurai, I don't think you will need it. I could be wrong but wasn't the Land of Samurai for MRQI and the Runequest II version was not released.
