CDL113
Does any one know of a an existing CoC module that has deck plans for a small to medium sized ocean liner? If possible I'm talking the whole ship, cargo holds, engine rooms, cabins, the works.
GamingGlen
Pulp Cthulhu has an adventure "Slow Boat to China" with deck plans of a large liner, the SS Coolidge. Shouldn't be too hard to shrink it?
ronin
The Free RPG Day scenario "The Derelict" has a couple of ships. One is a luxury yacht, the other is a refrigerated cargo liner. Both ships have detailed deck plans contained in the scenario. Edited October 28, 2017 by ronin
clarence
It's quite easy to find deck plans of Titanic on Google, but that is too big a ship I assume? Most other plans I have found on the internet are quite low-res. 1 Quote FrostByte Books M–SPACE d100 Roleplaying in the Far Future Odd Soot Science Fiction Mystery in the 1920s
CDL113
I appreciate all of the response. A friend had a copy of Call of Cthulhu Source Book (1990s) - "The Bermuda Triangle" that he is going to let me borrow. It has exactly what I needed, not to mention tons of extra stuff that I had not thought of! I will have to adjust it to 7th edition as I go and adjust for 1990 to current monetary and technology changes but that won't be to much trouble.
Spence
I have a couple good sets, but the Empress of Japan (liner)(1930, 1260 passengers, 22 kts) might be a good choice.
CDL113
I appreciate that Spence, I'll keep that in mind for another adventure if I need it. But like I mentioned in my last comment a friend had a copy of Call of Cthulhu Source Book (1990s) - "The Bermuda Triangle" that he is going to let me borrow. It has exactly what I needed, deck plans for a cruse ship (top to bottom), details on the island in the Bermuda Triangle, folk-lore specific to that area, creature stats as well as npc stats, equipment, and more. All I will need to do is make a few conversions to 7th edition and I am golden!!
Spence
Sounds good. I have the Bermuda book too. I just make the default assumption, yes yes I said assume, that it was 20s/30s, not modern. If you change your mind, just hollar 👍 Edited November 5, 2017 by Spence
clarence
Maybe you can put them in the downloads section? 1 Quote FrostByte Books M–SPACE d100 Roleplaying in the Far Future Odd Soot Science Fiction Mystery in the 1920s
