Gloranthan Calendar as an Excel Workbook

Recommended Posts

On one of the Facebook groups related to Runequest someone asked for a calendar. I'm sure this wheel has been re-invented many times, but I commented I could put one here, hence the post.

The attached Excel workbook uses the rune font (http://www.glorantha.com/docs/glorantha-core-rune-font/), there is also a sheet where I started adding some holy days.

Hope that helps someone.

I was going to make a Google Sheets version of this, but then I found out that it can't use local fonts, so no runes. Looks like I need to get the runes converted to EMF files, because it would be nice to get them into my character sheet as well.

*Edit* I've figured out how to get runes into Google Sheets - kind of. The simplest way is to create the sheet in LibreOffice, paste in the vectors from Inkscape, and upload it! You can get them in as images, it's more complicated but you can add them in natively rather than downloading, adding in LibreOffice, and then uploading again.

Yes, we are using Google Sheets at work and, well, it behaves like a QuickStart version of rules. Nice, simple, quick, easy to use, but want to do anything complex and deep and you may as well use the full version, i.e. Excel.
