A slightly different curve, with a 1 in 125 possibility of that max 18 (or min 6) v a 1 in 108 possibility; but still a minimum of 6, an average of 12, and a max of 18. I also note a thread in BRP, about the history of stat ranges, where a couple of the forum heavy weights also mention defaulting to 2D6 + 6 for their 'heroic' characters.
