Hmmm...Asterix comics might be a clever little source to use....

I can see the newest one as a Tarshite Seven Mothers ambassador coming to Apple Lane (or Clearwine). 🙂

There do not seem to be many references to these Rune Lords so you cloud likely have them still associated with Alebard's Tower unless they were dead...

What would your PC's do if the Rune Lord in question is deceased?

The last thing i read about them (both characters played by Bill Keyes) were that they were part of the "Assault on the Isle of the Dead" (Seas Season 1615), shortly before "The Great Raid on the Temple of the Wooden Swor" where Niselda, the invisible child, was born.
They were not mentioned in that one or in "The Dissolution of the Temple of the Wooden Sword" at the end of 1615.
But maybe they were on a mission/quest and returned to Alebards Tower later.

If my PCs learn that the Rune Lord is deceased, than the obigation between with that Rune Lord with the Wooden Sword has ended with their death, so no further action is needed.
It would be a problem, if they learn that the Rune Lord is deceased, and later on they find out that the information was wrong, and he hasn´t!

  3. In my campaign Eltang Swiftfoot, the latest aldryami carrier of the Wooden Sword, had the idea to plant the sword in the ashes of Rist (including an adlryami ritual), where it would become the seed of the new Shanasse tree of the forest that will grow at this place.
With the connection of this sword to DEATH, you can imagine what kind of aldryami that forest will host. 🙂

In my campaign Eltang Swiftfoot is wounded/weak and has taken refuge among the elves of the Bid Rubble. There my group of PCs met him, and were given the Wooden Sword, with the task to bring it to the shes of Rist and bury it there with the proper ritual (they have to convince an aldryami shaman from the Elder Wilds to do that for them, as the last step of this quest). But first they have to do a long sidequest:
The Wooden Sword is still attached to the rune level member of the former Temple of the Wooden Sword. The sword needs the blessing (Them letting go of the attachement) of every rune level member of the former Temple of the Wooden Sword, before the sword agrees to be used as seed for a new Shanassee tree.
My PCs are now tracking down the members of the former Temple of the Wooden Sword one by one, to get their blessings, before they can go to the Elder Wilds, get the sham,an to accompany them and travvel to Rist to plant this "sword-seed".
My PCs (as well as Eltang Swiftfoot) do not know who of the members of the Temple of the Wooden Sword was rune level... the heck... r´they don´t know if people that were in the friends group of the Temnple were Humakti et all.
So they have to track don´t one of them, and get more informations about the other members from him... etc.

The list they have (and what i "know"):
    - Londra of Londros (Humakti Runelord, currently in Old Wind)
    - Naimless (Humakti Runelord, currently in Clearwine)
    - Alebard (Humakti Runelord, in Alebards Tower? Maybe already dead?)
    - Eril Silksword (Humakti Runelord, in Alebards Tower?, Maybe already dead?)
Genevieve Leclercq (not a Humakti Runelord, not even a Humakti, an Orlanth Adventuous/Vingan)
Tamara Tree-chop (former bearer of the wooden sword, retired Humakti, now running the Geos Runegate Inn)
Jonathon Trollsbane (Humakti Runelord, somewhere in Heortland?)
Jondar Blackmane (Humakti Runelord, somewhere in Heartland?)
Bagtrap (Humakti Runelord, jumped into the mouth of the Bronze Dragons during a caravan over the mountains to Balazar, must have spit out by the dragon, because is now active in Pavis)
    - Contand Aloidan
(Humakti Runelord, last seen in the Uplamnd Marsh)
    Aceling (Humakti Runelord, wereabouts unknown)
Ashborn Twiceborn (not a Humakti Runelord, not even a Humakti, an Orlanth runelord, in Clearwine)

You might neatly avoid a minefield of assumptions by simply placing a blank space after "Gender:" as you did with all of the other Identity qualifiers.

Could we have a neutral blank space after Height and Weight, too.
I have no clue how many foot and inches some hight is. I use meters and centimeters.
Same for lbs. I use kg.

This image totally makes me want to run a time-travelers' campaign... or maybe a "reincarnations / past-lives;" where you've got different eras' campaigns intermixed...?

    Good idea!

In the first adventure (first life) greek warriors fight ancient beings (Nephilim / Anunnaki / the Greek Gods) by stealing their weapons and (since they can´t be destoyed) put them in a concealed location.

In the second adventure (second life) in the 1960s some regular people gets triggered by an event and get flashbacks to their past lives, and search for the lost location to find the weapons they secured in their first life.

In the third adventure (third life) in the 22nd century the same people get triggered again, and have to become mercenaries to fight the returned ancient beings that threaten their world.

  6. What was Storm Bull know for before the invasion of Chaos into the world?

If we have a look at the Iniitiation of Orlanth Myth (King of Sartar page 52ff) then Urox/Storm Bull was not afraid of the wild animals, fought them, and finally relesed them.

I assume that Storm Bull was alwsays the PROTECTOR of the people east of Dragon Pass (Prax & Wastes), and that his "job" always was to stop any physical thread from other creatures, that might harm "his people".

IMHO Chaos only was the most dangerous thred from the time it has entered the world up to now, and therefore Storm Bull is known as Chaos Killer.

Before Chaos entered the world (and after the world has been cleaned from chaos again... so... never... but hypothetical...) he was (and will be again) the protector of his people.

@AndreJarosch -- a couple of mod's to your master list:

TDM's "Star Wars" title was never anything "official," just a freebie; but it has been withdrawn (it's an expensive property, and has expensive lawyers attached).  OOP.

"Worlds Beyond" is not OOP!  It's available from "Precis Intermedia" -- I think one of their key schtick's is to find older properties and buy the rights, or just set up a POD / distribution-license or the like (n.b. I don't know the details, but they have a *lot* of older & smaller titles in their stable of games).

    Corrected.

1380's Mythic Russia is HQ, which is mechanically-unrelated to BRP.

"Val du Loup" shows the odd date-range of "10. Jh. – 13. Jh."

I believe d101's "The Company" is OOP; the author has apparently "vanished" from RPGspace & Newt has taken it down.

(Your list, by the by, is a really *excellent* list; please forgive my anal-retentive natterings, I'm just trying to stand on the shoulders of AndreJiant... )

    Mythic Russia deleted.

"10. Jh. – 13. Jh." is a remenant of the fact that i created this list for me and a german forum. Changed it to "10th-13th Century".

    Added OOP to The Company.

    Thanks for the compliment.

Originally i made this list for myself, then i put it up to a german forum, and have tried to keep it up to date.

Also worth noting that many of those products are exceedingly rare, and largely unlikely to become more-available.

It might be worth adding some sort of notations to indicate availabilty / rarity.

I added "OOP" to all products not currently available (as far as i know)... which is the majority of D100 settings.

@AndreJaroschI don't know if you wanted to list only english-speaking BRP products, but there has been a second edition of Hawkmoon by Oriflam in French in the 90s.

It was based on Elric! system.

This list only features english language products.

... You might even create a slipcase for them, and sell them as a set... A name for this set is on the tip of my tongue! 😉   Note that these would be more than simple genre books, but they would also provide guidance for GMs as to how to integrate the options presented into their settings.

That was "Worlds of Wonder", the original BRP box, as Jason Durall would say.

But they are not SETTINGS, they are settingless genre packs, and therefore not on my list (same as RQ3 or Mythras).

    Superhelden/Anti-Superhelden: DESTINED

Science Fantasy (wie Flash Gordon oder John Carter of Mars): MYTHRAS und M-SPACE

Kosmische Superhelden (wie Guardians of the Galaxy): DESTINED und M-SPACE

  14. Since i already have ALL of Chaosiums RPGs that are based upon BRP, plus Mythras, plus OpenQuest, plus M-Space, plus SimpleQuest, plus Jackals, plus Revolution D100, plus Other Suns, plus... you get it.

I would like to see a setting, and scenarios (and/or a campaign) for it.
But not any setting, but a setting that is tailored for BRP. A setting that works especially well with BRP and that other RPGS would have problems to make it easy to play in with their game systems.

I have no clue what kind of setting that might be, but that would be what i want from a new BRP supplement.

Please make suggestions as to how one might get a teaspoon of Mistress Race Troll tears.

Maybe there is a Hero Quest to where one of them are sad?

    What makes a troll cry?

Get her right after she had to leave Wonderhome, because Yelm came down into the underworld and burnt everything down.
I suppose that had made even Mistress Race trolls very sad (besides making them furious).

Yes. Tape bound monographs are even more scarce though, probably due to their fragile nature.

I would love to see all of these back, but I know that 0369-0372 have a very slim chance in hell of ever seeing the light of day! 😉

    I stand corrected! (*)

The 4 SB titles are out of license (unless Chaosium gets that back (which seems possible -- AIUI the main architect of the French company has passed (or am I recalling a different French RPG company?))).

But the 80 CoC could go up onto MR, if the authors wanted (does MR have edition requirements, e.g. only editions in-print?).

The same question as my OP applies:  I'm pretty sure Chaosium has returned the rights to (at least most of) those authors, and they're free to re-publish on the MR; I dunno, maybe some of them already have been re-published there???
But for most... is anyone in a position to nudge those folks?

And then there are 28 BRP monographs.  Some of those were QUITE well-received (and not yet re-homed at other publishers)...  A couple of meh, to be sure.  But... 15-20 ORC-eligible (and likely successful) products, perhaps?

For which, I reiterate my OP query...

Only the CoC monographs (which I think are about half of them).

Plenty of others that are clearly non-Mythos "plain ol' BRP" monographs.

    There were 112 Monographs:
    4 Stormbringer
28 BRP (which include 4 books directly copied from RQ3)
    80 CoC

I know, because i have all of them except one on my shelf.

Ancient egyptian, roman, greek or other earth non mythos gods rpg stats for call of cthulhu rpg.  looking for isis, sobek, sebek, anubus, and others. Any stats for any mytholoical gods norse, aztec. basically non cthulhu mythos gods, dieties etc.  i know i have seen some in books, but i can't recall what books. I know some think stating god is pointless, i would be using them as avatars, not a full manifestation of the god but just a part of a god.  if you know of any books that have such stats please let me know.

I would give them stats in line with the Dreamland Gods.
