  1. About "The Lunar Way":
    a) I think the motif is good
    b) but I had hoped it would be more spectacular
    c) I hope that the colours of the printed book will be stronger (more crimson)
    d) the war scythe in the hand of the Red Goddess came as a surprise to me
    e) I think it's GREAT that the picture extends into the header/title
    f) I hope all the other Cults of RuneQuest books will NOT do this to emphasise how out of the ordinary the Red Goddess is.

Isn't the intent of the critical hit rule to ensure that no one is ever invulnerable to damage through excessive mundane and magical defences? Anyone engaging in combat should be at risk. So criticals should bypass any type of defense by authorial intent. Just my opinion.

IMHO a critical comes through the minimal opening of the armour, which is so small of a chance that you don´t bother.

For me a criitical is like wearing a (late middle ages) full plate armour and the critical manages to to hit you through the eye slit of the helmet, or the joints.
Which is also the case if the armour is additinally enhanced by magic.
But if the magic doen´t enhance the armour but IS the armour, and covers your body entirely, then a critical can´t fint the "small opening, which can be ignored, because the chance to hit it is to small to care about" isn´t there.

But the rules don´t support my interpretation.

Few people have noticed that Ur-Argrath’s Saga in King of Sartar is from 1965, the year when Greg first discovered Glorantha...

I once suggested to Greg that the Glorantha year "Now", when King of Sartar was published in Glorantha should be 1992 (the year KoS 1st edition was published).
He liked that idea very much, and told me that he would have loved to used that idea in the publication of that book, if he had thought of that idea by that time he finished it.

I can now confirm that Crusaders of the Amber Coast is in production for the ORC edition of BRP, and that I have a new manuscript for Tian Xia - the Celastial Empire 99% ready, which will enter production soon. Wind on the Steppes will probably follow.

    And what about "Stupor Mundi"?

Use Masteries, allowing the "skill" to reset. No need to fiddle with Specials and Criticals. Masteries would allow the user to bump the level of success up or down a level.

It works with Crits --> Success --> Failure --> Fumble

But if you add in Specials, it wouldn´t work.

So it would work for MYTHRAS, but not for BRP.
