  • RPG Biography
Started playing with Moldvay B/X, then later Call of Cthulhu 2nd ed.
By the time I was in college, I was playing Call of Cthulhu exclusively.
Following a decades-long hiatus, my passion for RPGs, especially investigative role-playing games, has reignited.
  • Current games
Harlem Unbound, Masks of Nyarlathotep, Cthulhu Confidential... lots of modern CoC one-offs.
  • Location
    Indianapolis, IN
  • Blurb
A research psychiatrist. Acolyte of the holy trinity of Hammett, Chandler, and Macdonald; also into weird/folk horror and pulp noir. I'm a 30-year veteran of Call of Cthulhu RPG, and it still ranks as my favorite, along with ToC/Cthulhu Confidential. Dedicated patron of 'The Good Friends of Jackson Elias' podcast.

  1. There's just something about an rpg in a box...
  2. Okay, I understand. I didn't realize it was a reference to the new MoN.
  3. Hell in Texas, one of the scenarios from Things We Left Behind, is a gem. Actually, most of the scenarios in the TWLB anthology are very good.
  4. Lucky you! It's good to hear that the game is still in the works. Thanks!
  5. Any news on the development and/or release of this product? Lynne Hardy fans are waiting with abated breath.
  6. After seeing it at GenCon, I'm kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on the preorder. In any case, it will be mine.
  7. This is a really good question. I have the first edition, love it, and would be hesitant to replace it with a newer edition that didn't also support Trail of Cthulhu (GUMSHOE).
