The point of Night Jumper magic is to appear somewhere unexpectedly. While Trollball games are a good soft target for a Night Jumper attack, the target would be the audience, dark trolls and better - this is a time and place where only relatively few trollkin are present, those selected as balls or potential balls, and personal attendants in the crowd (who aren't exactly protected from being tossed into the game as the next "ball").
