Conrad
Yes I know it was for DLOM thanks, but was it ever published? And if it was, has anyone converted it to Elric!/Stormbringer 5th edition? And if it was, has anyone converted it to Elric!/Stormbringer 5th edition? No, not to my knowledge anyway, and I was watching for it quite closely at the time.Jason's Slaves of Fate is the only DLoM supplement to see print as far as I recall, and the conversion notes for that are up at Marcus' site, but Straits of Chaos never saw print to the best of my knowledge, and reading between the lines in various archives I'm not sure Chaosium ever had a publishable manuscript n house for it.cheers,Nick
Conrad
Cheers Nick. I recently bought Slaves of Fate, and I saw an advert in the back mentioning Straits of Chaos. It is a pity that a manuscript doesn't appear to exist for SoC. Quote http://www.basicrps.com/core/BRP_quick_start.pdf A sense of humour and an imagination go a long way in roleplaying. smiorgan
Straits of Chaos never materialized. Its cover was recycled for the BRP (RQ3) monograph. Smiorgan
TheHistorian
Doesn't exist. Product number 2019 was assigned, but never used, nor recycled to any other Chaosium book. Quote 44/
smiorgan
BTW, despite DLOM being a really wretched incarnation of the Eternal Champion... Slaves of Fate is, in my modest opinion, a VERY good adventure, well worth playing with the Elric! conversions. Alas! I never had the occasion to actually run it.... Maybe I should do something about that. Smiorgan

Conrad
Its cover was recycled for the BRP (RQ3) monograph. Smiorgan It was also used for the cover of the republished WOW BRP introduction to the Chaosium System. Jason D
Thanks for the kind words about Slaves of Fate. I quite enjoyed writing that adventure, my first published scenario. I would have liked to have seen it published for one of the d% iterations of the game, but it can't be helped. I'm confirming that there never was a publishable manuscript for Straits of Chaos, as mentioned above. I don't know why a revision was never attempted, but for one reason or another it never went beyond an unusable first draft (if that). It's a pity, as the outline sounded pretty cool.
