Natural Twenty Games
Greetings, I'm really digging my copy of BRP and the processes are start to flow. I've got alot of stuff, i.e. fluff, ready and am starting to narrow down my system choices. BRP appears to be a really good fit - crunchy enough with alot of options that I could turn on/off with ease. I see the monographs and other things "in the works" on the front page of this site. How does one go about pitching an idea for a license? LivingTriskele
I'm curious about this as well. I've been given the go-ahead to write a 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons mini-campaign for Necromancer Games, but honestly have a serious problem warming up to 4th Edition. I know a professional writer goes where the money is--it's just hard to give up one of your babies to a system you'll probably never play. That's why you should consider what system you want to write for before you go for a project. At this point I'D suggest write it for D&D4, but do up stats for whatever other system you reallyly wanted to write it up for as well. If it is, say D&D 3.5, it is possible that Necromancaer might be willing to publish it as a "mulitsystem" adventure. And if not, you can at least fell good about having it in a form you will use. If it is something more radical, liike, say you'd prefer to do in for BRP, then you can still use the BRP writeups for yourself, but probably won't be able to get the BRP stats printed. f it really ends up bothering you to do a D&D4 product, then you know enough not to do so again. LivingTriskele
That's why you should consider what system you want to write for before you go for a project. Amen. I submitted if for 3.5, but then 4th was announced. I'm grateful for opportunity, nonetheless. Quote "If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales.
