Nevun Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 It occurred to me the other day that i didn't recall any reference to the HQ mechanic of Heroforming - allowing oneself to be possessed by an ancestor spirit or becoming the character. womble Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) In my reading, whenever your characters are Inspired by their God's Runes, or a Devotion, they are 'Heroforming', to some degree. This degree is magnified, IMG, in Worship ceremonies, with the effects ramping up as the significance of the Day increases, reaching a maximum during the Sacred Time rituals. RQG is at that stage where a lot has been crammed in, but a lot has been missed out, to avoid an 800 page rulebook. Hopefully, Heroforming will be covered later and put on an official footing.
