MOB
Nicely done Bud and Pookie! [Note, in addition to being available as a free download and POD as stated in the review, a revised and full colour version of The Derelict (with new pre-gens) features in our 2018 release PETERSEN'S ABOMINATIONS. Available from Chaosium: http://bit.ly/2IsHdJ2.] Edited June 14, 2019 by MOB
JonHook
Hmmm... is this a case of copying as a form of respect? Nah... I don't think so either.

JonHook
The old adage of complementing through duplication. It sounds like Pookie suspects that the review pirates his previous work. Am I reading that wrong?

This was a collaborative thing - I narrated the actual text of his review from back in 2016. I assume he used the word "pirate" due to it being a ship at sea. He published the text of my review on his blog. Why would he be promoting it if he thought I had stolen his words?
klecser
If I've learned anything in the few years I've been supporting Bud online, it is that he has integrity and it was completely a collaboration!

It read less like a promotion, and more like an alert to me.
JonHook
Sorry. Was I the only one who misunderstood? Sarcasm in text is hard to read.

You can read the text of his review of The Derelict on my blog here. My use of the word 'pirate' was deliberate and it was meant in an ironic sense, and not to indicate that Bud had purloined my review. (Note that if he had, I would not be posting using the same format that I do for all of my reviews and my language and tone would be very different.) JonHook
My sincerest apologies. I really thought it was an authentic call-out to a pirated copy of your work.
