Yes, but as I said, I don't have access.  I tried to access it but it said I was not allowed.  I can see the Call of Cthulhu AutoCalc sheets just fine.  Weird, huh?

    Hi!

Please report any files you find in the download section which you for some reason isn't able to download or that seem corrupted. With a link please! There's also a report button in the download section.

  2. The forum name in the activity feed is written beneath the title of the thread topic. I do see the problems of having posts from a password restricted forum appear in the unread content stream, but I haven't found a way to avoid it. A custom stream excluding the Cult of Chaos forum can be made by individual members, but is sort of a hassle to get to. Easiest would probably be to just mark the forum as read (or join the cult of chaos!)

Jeff and I intentionally gutted the previous fan publications policies.

Does that mean we can bring back the tastefully done drawing of a morocanth herder milking one of his cows?

I think the 'dullness' of high level combat is true, if a teensy bit overstated.  Then again, it seems fairly 'real life' reasonable that two master combatants would be evenly matched and could trade blows for an inordinate amount of time.

We had this problem too for some time, that combat just went on and on. Until we changed the critical, special, failure and fumble rules that is. Now we have criticals at 1/10th skill rounded down, specials at 1/2 skill rounded down, all rolls above 90 is a failure (if not a fumble) and fumbles at 90+1/10th skill rounded down. It REALLY speeds up the combat. The players were horrified when I introduced the rule, fearing the swift death of their characters, but have gotten used to it now. (As a side effect it also provides better granulation for opposed non-combat skills).

  5. As Baulderstone write, the BRP forum is the big d100 of all shapes and forms forum. While there is a OOP rulesystem with that name, the overwhelming majority of the threads within are concerned with general d100 stuff.

A specific game design forum will not see enough activity I'm afraid.

  6. The RuneQuest Gateway forum contains threads discussing RQ6 mechanics and supplements and threads discussing other editions and general BRP/RQ threads. Luckily there ain't that many pages of it, so I should be able to pull just the RQ6 specific threads when DM launches RQ6 under a new name. BUT we'll deal with this when that time comes.

Please rename this forum page RuneQuest 6 and re-name it when the Design Mechanism releases the new name of their flagship product. Then create a new forum page for RuneQuest Glorantha.

Sorry Trif, I know this will mean pulling lots of threads that pertain to RQG and moving them. But this forum page was originally set up to cover the Design Mechanisms product and no one will be able to find the numerous threads that it already contains for the Design Mechanism's products by this time next year. That includes all of the existing threads for Classic Fantasy, Chronicles of Future Earth, Luther Arkwright, Mythic Britain, Shores of Korantia, The Taskan Empire, and Monster Island, just to scratch the surface. You go back to even page 2 and all of the posts pertain to RQ6.

    Rod

A split is going to happen, but not yet. I've asked Loz about it, and he wants to wait until they announce their system under the new name. Currently they still hold a valid license for the RuneQuest name.

Permission to start a Supplement Withdrawn (SW) thread? :):):o

Discussing Supplement Withdrawn (whatever that is) should be okay as long as no request for Supplement Withdrawn are made in the thread.

  9. Fearing the ferocious Disney litigation team, the thread discussing the sharing of the great fan supplement That Shall not Be Named has been removed. The mentioned supplement is still available online with a quick search (at least for the moment), but requests for it here on BRP Central from other members should be avoided for the safety of the site.

(Jeez! How did it come to this? Litigious society! :()
